Alba Bar and Kitchen is amazing. Their food is absolutely delicious, time and time again (we've been a lot!) The staff are always so lovely, helpful and friendly. The menu is small and changes regularly, so you know that the food is freshly prepared and not mass produced. Honestly can't tell you how incredible the food is...tasty and beautifully presented. It's our favourite place to eat. A little piece of heaven in the Alps!

The food is delicious, the wine is scrumptious, the desserts are outrageously good and the service is amazing. Alba is a husband and wife team that provide awesome seasonal food (the menu changes pretty regularly) in a warm and welcoming setting. Stacey rocks front of house and Alan cooks up an absolute storm in the kitchen!

Chez Alba Restaurant, Stacey et Alan vous accueillent avec humilité et sincérité … on a le plaisir d’avoir une fenêtre ouverte sur la culture de Pub, oui oui là où hume le Sunday roasted … bref tout autre chose que les attrapes-touristes envieux de tartiflettes, de fondues ou encore de raclettes, non ici juste l’authenticité du goût d’une cuisine faite par une personne certes réservée mais talentueuse qui remet la carte en jeu toutes les semaines … assez rare que pour le souligner. À chaque fois que je viens manger je suis reçu avec mes deux filles comme un membre de la famille, tant les choses sont simples et bonnes. Best duck I’ve ever had! Delicious, moist, and crispy on the outside with a fantastic homemade teriyaki sauce. Owners are super lovely and chatty as well! You won’t regret it!

If you are around the Morzine area this place has the best food of any of the restaurants in Portes du Soleil. Relaxed bar and restaurant. The quality of the food is just really really good, perfectly cooked and well presented. Menu is small but it changes every day. It is genuinely excellent.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce bar (uniquement fréquentés par des anglais) après une balade en montagne (4 adultes et 4 enfants). Nous avons tous consommé une boisson et nous avons demandé s'il y avait quelques choses à manger (type crêpe ou gaufre pour les enfants). Il n'y avait rien de cela (pas grave) alors nous avons sorti de notre sac une madeleine pour chaque enfant et des amandes pour faire juste goûter un peu nos enfants de 6 à 9 ans. Rien de dramatique me direz vous... et bien pas pour la serveuse (anglaise), qui a essayé de baragouiner quelques choses en français (on ne comprenait pas ce qu'elle disait, même les adultes qui parlent un peu la langue). Mais nous avons fini par comprendre qu'elle ne voulait pas qu'on apporte de la nourriture de l'extérieur...je ne retournerai pas dans un bar où l'on interdit à des enfants de goûter une pauvre m

Nous sommes venu le 31 mars à 13h avec notre fils pour manger étant dans le région , mais l’accueil était vraiment médiocre La serveuse nous a gentiment dit que le restaurant était je site tout complet , entièrement réservé alors qu’il n’y avait qu’une table occupée Nous lui avons demandez si c’était pour rire Réponse de la serveuse , tout est réservé Nous sommes repassé devant le restaurant 30 minutes plus tard , le restaurant était vide Ils suffisait de nous dire que la cuisine était ferme

Went on a curry night. Was able to book at short notice. Staff very friendly. Bar and restaurant immaculate with a good vibe. Limited menu but this results in fantastic food as the chefs efforts are concentrated. Fair prices and great food. We’ll done!

Amazing service and the nicest staff ever. We arrived just before closing after the kitchens had closer due to flight delays and the staff were incredibly kind and made us some delicious food so we would have something to eat that day. Couldn't fault the food or service.

Shared a lovely family meal here. The staff were very friendly and helpful towards allergies and food preferences. Would recommend to try, reasonably priced top quality food thank you we will return on our next trip.

This restaurant is incredible. Their food is absolutely delicious every single time we go and the staff are so lovely. The menu is regularly changed so there are always new things to try- an absolute gem of a place. Saint jean is lucky to have such a great eatery. Additionally, we had a friend with a severe gluten intolerance and they went above and beyond with his food. 100% recommend.

Fantastic Sunday Lunch. For starters we ate the asparagus tart which had beautifully thin delicate pastry, superb filling and perfectly cooked vegetables. Main course of halloumi and mushroom was so rich and flavour packed I thought that was all I’d need. Even more pleasing then when a Yorkshire pudding arrived filled with garlic roast potato and gravy. All in all; a gem of a place. Accomplished, well executed cooking.

On est arrivés un poil stones et par hasard complet. Accueillis par une dame anglaise sympathique, on ne sait pas trop ce qu'il y avait dans nos assiettes mais c'était simplement un pur régal. Mention spéciale pour les légumes et le pain naan. Niveau vin, on a simplement demandé "un verre de vin rouge" qui s'est révélé être une tuerie même si on ne sait pas ce que c'était. Le tout dans une ambiance britannico-savoyarde bon enfant, bercé par Prince depuis des hauts parleur de discothèque vintage dans la salle à manger. On recommande chaudement.

A découvrir à Saint Jean d'Aulps. Nous y étions en soirée. Bar Restaurant agréable où l on se sent tout de suite à l'aise. Les plats proposés sont présentés avec goût et vraiment bien cuisinés. Les serveuses sont très agreables. Nous y avons passé un bon moment et les prix pratiqués nous ont semblés bien raisonnables.

Absolutely amazing food, both Indian as Scottish dishes were top-notch. Great music, lovely personel. An absolute must when you're in the region.

A lovely, minimalistic bar & restaurant with an interesting menu of excellent Scottish and Indian specialities. Their fish and chips was tender and juicy, cheese nachos were great, and both the brisket sandwich and the haggis burger were delicious. Their "Perfect Job" IPA - slightly jasmine perfumed - was great, too. We're looking forward to come back with our children, as soon as it will be possible... ☺️

Excellent accueil, salle spacieuse et jolie déco serveuse aimable et parle parfaitement le français.

Toujours aussi fan de cette adresse et de la cuisine du patron. Curry au poulet juste dingues !! Le zinfandel bu avec a super bien fonctionné. Les patrons sont sympa, l'ambiance très cosy, et ils ont de la paulaner à la pression (ça compte aussi 😊)

We had such a nice time, always made to feel so welcome! Food was always excellent, as was the service! I was lucky enough to try most of the menu during our holiday and there was nothing I wouldn’t recommend. 👌🏼

We had a lovely meal here tonight I had the Haggis and Cumberland sausage burger, lots of flavour, loved it My wife had a curry and said it was very good A friend with us also had a curry, several times he said the location was a good choice The deserts were equally good We had a beer each and a bottle of very good red wine Quick and friendly service and all for less that 100 euros It was indeed a good choice of locations
