Avis sur Atmosphère française à Chamonix

Le cadre est vraiment sympa et le service très bien. Côté cuisine, le foie gras était une belle réussite. La volaille et la sauce très bonne mais l’accompagnement, des simples légumes croquants, même pas cuits vapeurs, pour des assiettes à ce prix-là c’est très moyen. Les desserts étaient chers et sans plus, pas trop de goût. En résumé, on a bien mangé mais par à hauteur de 180€ pour deux (avec apéritif et verres de vin).

Abbiamo mangiato pranzo in settimana con la mia Amata Compagna, menu del giorno buonissimo e ottimo prezzo. Il locale ha un’ingresso discreto che purtroppo è poco in vista, ma dentro la sala ha una bella vista e l’ambiente elegante e accogliente. Staff molto disponibile, gentile e attento al cliente. Ci torneremo sicuramente

Une excellente adresse à découvrir ou redécouvrir. Toute l’équipe est adorable dans une ambiance calme, feutrée et épurée. Les plats sont sapides, généreux (parfaitement équilibrés) : bravo ! L’équipe quant à elle est accueillante, souriante et sincèrement agréable nous avons passé un délicieux moment. Je regrette seulement deux choses : 1. L’absence de cocktails sans alcool ou de propositions sans alcools 2. Le pain perdu nous a un peu déçu. Il était très bon mais ce n’était pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions (nous aurions pu évidemment demander plus d’informations). Une excellente adresse que je recommande à 100%.

J’ai organisé mon diner d’anniversaire avec mes amis en février, l’accueil était plus que chaleureux! Le lieu est magique et le personnel au petit soin. Le repas était délicieux et tout les convives ont passé un agréable moment. Merci encore Gaëtan et son équipe pour cette soirée mémorable ❤️

De l'entrée au dessert, tout était parfait. Gros coup de cœur pour la pièce de bœuf et ses gnocchis dorés, ainsi que pour la générosité des profiteroles. Très bon service également. Je recommande ! ⭐️

Très très bon restaurant situé en plein centre de la ville. L’emplacement est idéal et l’ambiance agréable. La cuisine est généreuse, bien présentée et de qualité, avec des plats savoureux. Un grand merci au jeune homme à l’accueil, très professionnel et efficace, qui a réussi à nous trouver une super table malgré le monde. Service au top, je recommande sans hésiter.

Worst food we had in chamonix. Tourist trap. Fake luxury. Literally never leave reviews but I had to. Ordered a side of vegetables and they gave us boiled yellow broccoli I would throw out if I was cooking with nothing on it. Just bland boiled bad veggies. Pasta was undercooked. Steak was wayyyy too overpriced for the bad quality it is. Waiters were not kind and the environment was chaotic. Worst food I’ve had in chamonix. Favorite is still malabar princess.

I dine here every trip to Chamonix. First visited in 1994! Prior to this week, my last visit was in 2001. I was pleasantly surprised to see them still in business. They are still worthy of their Michelin “nod”. Efficient professional service. Outstanding wine list. Expertly prepared French classics as well as local Savoyard selections. A relaxing, special way to celebrate a ski holiday with good friends. Located in the heart of Chamonix. Reserve a riverside table on the terrace for the best “atmosphere”. As an American from Seattle, I feel there is a lot of value. The price below included cocktail, dinner, dessert, and wine.

Nous y sommes allés pour notre mariage. Les serveurs étaient adorables et au petit soin, tout était pensé dans les moindres détails ! Nous avons adoré la cuisine, les plats étaient délicieux et les desserts particulièrement succulents. La carte des vins très fournie. Nous y retournerons et conseillons à tous de tester !

Spend a day touring Chamonix city centre during ski breaks because of avalanche and find this hidden gem. Exceptional service, good food and atmosphere. Had a glass of very impressive aligote wine as well, an excellent choice recommended by the serving personnel, thank you. Dear sir, can you tell me what aligote I’d got? Forgot to retrieve its brand which I’m afraid I couldn’t have it again ever.

Muy lindo lugar y con muy buena atención. Pedimos un menú de e48 que incluía 2 platos y postre y todo muy rico. El mozo era sumamente atento. El segundo plato era una especie e fondeu bourguiñon pero más limpia que la que yo conocía con aceite. En esta ponías la carne sobre una plancha caliente y quedaba muy muy bien.

De A à Z, tout dans ce super restaurant est parfait : un menu à seulement 30 € avec une qualité au rendez-vous, de superbes produits et surtout une cuisine excellente. La vue sur la rivière, couplée à celle de la montagne depuis la véranda, est tout simplement magnifique. Le personnel est accueillant et aux petits soins ; on ne peut que recommander l’Atmosphère !!!

I visited this restaurant for lunch and the food was simply amazing. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up coming back the next day for dinner — and it was just as good! Definitely a place worth visiting (and revisiting!).

De passage à Chamonix le dimanche 8 février, nous avons choisi le restaurant l’atmosphère et ça été un très bon choix. Très bien servi, une cuisine rafînee, que du bonheur, bravo à l équipe aussi bien serveur que réceptionniste. Nous étions 6 et tous on adorés. À très bientôt👍

Authentic French cuisine with nice view od the river.

Je viens manger chez Atmosphère chaque fois que je viens à Chamonix (4x/an) et je ne suis jamais déçu. J’adore. C’est devenu un rituel dont je ne pourrais plus me passer!

Very nice restaurant in the chamonix center, a bit more expensive than other Michelin recommended restaurants in the village but overall good value. Book in advance and ask for a table with a river view. We got there at 7:30 pm and most of tables with view were already taken. Duck, foie gras and desserts were quite good, I would skip snails.

Awesome service, amazing food. We mentioned we were celebrating our engagement and they put us on a table with an amazing view of the mountains and the river. They also surprised us with a song, heart shaped confetti and a free dessert. Best lunch ever!

I had ordered the menu, the courses were decent, but did not blow me away. The price for the a la carte dishes were way too high for the quality. The servers were not very welcoming or friendly. I came here through the Michelin Guide, but I was not very satisfied.

Une très bonne expérience en solo, venant du Beaujolais pour une journée, très bon accueil, dynamique et agréable. Pas d'attente concernant le service, plats succulent ! Un petit clin d'œil pour les profiteroles maison, un délice ! Je recommande vivement et je reviendrai soit en solo soit avec d'autres, je recommanderai autour de moi.

Certes plus cher que d’autres restaurant mais....bah oui il y a un mais, ils sont pros et gentils, surtout Thomas une crème🤗, un serveur empathique et attentionné, bref ce qui nous manque quasiment dans tous les restaurants. La fondue est parfaitement équilibré et la carte des vins à faire pâlir d’envie certains restaurants gastronomiques. Pour 2 à 10€ prêts ne réfléchissez pas et choisissez l’Atmosphère qui vous convient et celle de ce restaurant est parfaite 🫠 Petit point romantique c'est une table au file de l’Arve qui s’écoule le long de la terrasse

I think a lot of people write laudatory reviews under pressure from a Michelin star. I was at a restaurant, the onion soup was bad, the snails were disgusting. The seating is very cramped. People are sitting shoulder to shoulder. It causes discomfort. I've been to many Michelin-starred restaurants, but there's nothing worth mentioning here.

Came for a NYE dinner. The service was horrible, dining room felt like a train car, and we got food poisoning. Michelin, please correct this mistake. This is a shameful tourist trap.

The group was appetizing at Atmosphere. The food was outstanding, the service was phenomenal, and water refills arrived approximately every 30 seconds We asked, and the servers delivered. The only caveat was the table placement: it was wedged so close to the booth that reaching it required summiting Mount Everest. Oxygen tanks were nearly necessary. Aside from that minor expedition, the experience at Atmosphere was absolutely outstanding of this world.

Food is great, it’s on the Michelin guide so you know you expect good food. What i loved is the service, if they are behind on time they WILL make it up to you somehow someway, the staff are great smart and generous and they know what they’re talking about when it comes to the food or wine, very knowledgeable staff and welcoming. Been here 3 times and will keep coming back again and again and would definitely recommend to anyone stopping by. Heads up it’s ideal to book your table.

Accueil sympathique et agréable. Service efficace. La cuisine est, de manière générale, très bonne. Petit + pour le risotto d'épeautre aux champignons 🍄 qui est excellent ! Le mille feuille de fruit rouges est vraiment surprenant dans la présentation, destrucuré, très bon. Cependant, manque d'un petit peps ou de quelque chose en + sur l'assiette d'omble chevalier, qui pour moi était bonne mais sans originalité.

Одно из любимых мест в Шамони! Еда всегда безупречная, отличный сервис, богатый выбор вина. Цены довольно высокие, но оно того стоит! По ощущениям- ресторан уровня Мишлен. Особенно нравится здесь рыба.

My husband and I visited this restaurant while we were traveling around Europe for our honeymoon. We were supposed to go paragliding from the mountains that day and were really looking forward to it, but it got cancelled because of the rain. We were feeling a bit down, but then we came across this place. Luckily, they let us in without a reservation, and we ordered the course menu. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious — we were seriously impressed. The dessert was amazing too. There were families and locals dining there as well, and the atmosphere felt really warm and welcoming. The staff were also super kind and made us feel very comfortable. My husband and I talked about how this restaurant has become one of the most memorable places we've ever visited. Being surrounded by the beautiful nature of Chamonix and being able to enjoy such a lovely meal made our trip truly unf

Très belle expérience en famille (2 adultes et 2 enfants) au restaurant L'Atmosphère à Chamonix. Nous avions réservé en ligne et l'accueil a été parfait, très élégant - on nous a même pris les manteaux à l'entrée, ce qui est rare et très appréciable. Le service, assuré par une dame et un monsieur, a été à la fois professionnel et chaleureux, avec de petites attentions pour les enfants qui font toute la différence. Nous avons dégusté une excellente fondue aux cépes, un vrai délice ! Menu enfant est aussi très qualitatif. La carte est variée et on sent que beaucoup est fait maison: la qualité est au rendez-vous, et l'équipe en salle comme en cuisine est nombreuse et efficace. Un restaurant à recommander sans hésiter si vous passez par Chamonix.

Beau cadre et équipe sympathique. Le service est un peu trop pressé : les assiettes, le pain ou les plats sont installés et débarrassés à toute vitesse, ce qui enlève un peu de convivialité. On a bien mangé, mais les prix sont vraiment trop élevés pour ce que c’est. Très belle carte des vins en revanche.

Quelle belle expérience ! Habitué depuis des années de ce lieu, j’y prends toujours plus de plaisir. Les tables sur la véranda surplombent l’arve qui nous berce pendant le repas. Le personnel est charmant et prévenant. Mention spéciale à notre serveuse Ukrainienne qui a été au petits oignons avec nous. Les plats sont variés et copieux. Même si on est pas fan des spécialités de savoie, la carte est suffisamment riche pour trouver son bonheur. La cave est remarquable avec un grand choix de vins de Savoie et d’ailleurs. Le cadre est splendide. Un valeur sure à réserver à l’avance pour être bien placés.

Ce restaurant nous a été conseillé par Laure, notre hote du chalet pleine vue, et nous la remercions car tout était parfait ! L'accueil : simple, classe et chaleureux ; le cadre : vue sur la rivière, décoration et table raffinées ; le plat : fondue excellente, profiteroles à tomber par terre ... très bon rapport qualité prix ! Y aller, cest avoir envie de revenir !

I am a single traveler on my third dinner in Chamonix looking for another SAVOYARD specialty and found it at Atmosphere. The room is cosy and I was welcomed warmly. I tried the Baked Vacherin (hot box cheese), served with charcuterie and potatoes. Hot, melted Vacherin — poured over potatoes, paired with charcuterie. Pure alpine heaven! I also had a refreshing beer and a glass of Bourgogne white wine.

Really enjoyed this place. Staff is great and location is superb. Food was excellent! So excellent that we ate here 3 evenings in a row 😍

Goed eten en pizza's die niet zwart zijn! Fijn om een lekkere pizza's voor je neus te hebben. Het restaurant heeft zoveel zitplaatsen dat er weinig aandacht is voor de gast. Buiten zit je boven op elkaar, wij houden daar niet zo van.

Hey, guys from the Michelin guide and the restaurant, are you really thinking that desserts (we tried 2) with whipped cream from a supermarket bottle are OK? The food was awful as well. We tried the menu. My Michelin guide trust became 30% less. Fix this, please.

What a great pleasure to have come here ! Felt very pleasant the moment we walked through the door (we didn't reserve but the female staff welcomed us with a beautiful smile - didn't get her name but she was amazing, helped us to store our bags happily) She showed us a table by the window beside the river, how wonderful ! We really enjoyed our meal there. Service was fantastically attentive, efficient, beautiful team. The employer should be proud to have such a wonderful team. Food, atmosphere, and staff were all perfect for us.  We will surely be back.

Repas du midi pris dans ce charmant restaurant très intimiste. Une belle Découverte pour ma compagne et moi. Tout est très bien, les serveurs sont à l’écoute, très serviable et courtois. Le cadre est sublime. Nous avons trouvé le service un petit peu entre notre plat et notre dessert mais cela a très vite été oublié face a la qualité de la cuisine. Je recommande vivement. Une table en véranda avec la sublime vue sur l’arve peut être demandée, je le recommande fortement.

حلو كتجربة. الاكل مش واو لكن لطيف خصوصاً اللحم اللي تشوونه بنفسكم + الفوندو . اما باقي الأطباق عادية جداً وغالية. كان المطعم مزدحم كالعادة وغير مريح . كانت الخدمة رائعة لكن مبالغ في السعر. أعطيه ثلاثة ونص من خمسة.

We ate here twice during our stay in Chamonix. The food was delicious and the service was good. A Few of the staff were great, but we especially want to mention one team member Chris Jhon (hope I got hisname write ! )He was very kind and cooperative. 這家米其林法式餐廳，位在地下室沒有很起眼環境很優雅，出餐速度快，服務很好，位子沒很大會跟緊鄰的桌子很接近，麵包超好吃外酥內軟，可以一直續，鴨肉沙拉味道很好吃我超愛，主食是鮭魚感覺是舒肥料理，吃起來有點噁心沒熟感軟軟的，可能亞洲人無法適應，或許生魚片還比較適合😅這道大家都不能接受，燉飯好吃也不會太鹹感覺沒有添加很多調味料的負擔，甜點冰品不會太甜的冰淇淋很爽口，整個吃下來有飽足感，除了我們是華人外大部分都是歐洲臉孔，可惜沒坐在靠窗的位子無法感受他的浪漫，整體而言可以來朝聖看看

很不錯吃的餐廳 在地下室（如果坐後面一點的座位會在河邊） 主餐的鮭魚美味！ 甜點的冰淇淋是梅果口味+芒果口味 很讚

Bel emplacement pour ce restaurant. Nous étions sous la véranda ce qui a été très agréable. Le service et l’accueil ont été à la hauteur de mes attentes. Les menus proposés sont corrects et bons. Le petit bémol pour moi c’est un peu bruyant, bcp de touristes, pas très intimiste. Mais dans l’ensemble cela reste une bonne adresse.

Bel endroit, la véranda est très agréable et atypique. Le service est très chalereux. Bonne cuisine, mais il manque un petit quelque chose (typiquement l'entrée de Ravioles de langoustines et émulsion crustacés manque vraiment de peps surtout à ce prix là). J'y retournerais surement mais je pense que les avis surcotent ce restaurant au niveau de sa cuisine.

The restaurant boasts a stunning location, making it a beautiful spot to dine. Unfortunately, despite its Michelin star, the food was underwhelming. The tomato pasta, in particular, was disappointing—lacking salt and overwhelmed by an excessive amount of black pepper. The other dishes we ordered were good but nothing exceptional. What really detracted from the experience was the service. While the staff were attentive, we felt rushed from the moment we sat down. The server came multiple times within just a few minutes of being seated to check if we were ready to order, which felt quite pressuring. The pacing of the meal felt off. We were finished and out of the restaurant in an hour. When the dessert menu was presented, the server returned just two minutes later asking if we’d decided, even though we hadn’t yet opened the menu. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Nous avons découvert le restaurant Atmosphère à Chamonix pour un dîner, et ce fut une excellente surprise ! Tout était très bien : le cadre, le repas délicieux, et un service attentionné du début à la fin. Mention spéciale pour la prise en compte de mon régime sans gluten en tant que malade coeliaque : j’ai vraiment apprécié les précautions prises et les alternatives proposées. Excellent food and service

Deuxième visite dans ce restaurant qui nous avait laissé un bon souvenir la première fois. Déçue pour cette fois. Entrée ( betteraves) sans intérêt… une sole meunière à 49 euros qui se noie dans le beurre…. Et juste servie avec des pommes de terre qui baignent également dans le beurre…. C’est bruyant et les tables sont très serrées .

I just didn’t love the food as much as I expected to — my husband was rating it between 3.5 and 4 for his steak, but my truffle pasta was really underwhelming (and 50 euros was kind of insane). Service was good though, and overall a pleasant atmosphere!

We went there for dinner on Saturday evening, it was full of people and as a result the waiters were a little slow but still super nice, friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious (we ordered fish Sole and the pasta with truffles, highly recommend both).

Un très bonne accueil. En revanche un service très mitigé, la serveuse avait l’air débordé. 35min pour pouvoir passer commande.. Cependant la nourriture est vraiment excellente, les plats sont très raffiné et goûtu ! Le service en cuisine est super rapide. Une fois la commande passé les plats se sont enchaînés très rapidement, ce qui a permis vraiment de relever la qualité du service. Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain passage sur chamonix.

All in all it was ok.. Excellent mushroom soup, the sea bream was good but the overall dish was lacking flavours…desserts were 11/10!!! Overall, good value for money (menu is 57) and we had a nice evening there. The dessert was amazing 😍 We went for the dinner service at 7 and there's another one at 9. The service is very efficient but the whole experience felt a bit rushed even though we spent nearly the full 2 hours there. Once finished, the plate was taken and the next dish was served 1 minute later. For dessert we had to ask for a break.

We have just had dinner at Atmosphere, and we have ordered Pierre Chaud, unfortunately it wasn’t a stone but a thin metallic plate and it didn’t keep the heat, so the beef was not really cooking, it stayed pink after 15 minutes. We sent most of it back. My husband said that his venison was also the worst venison he ever had, it was grainy, but since he finished it, he didn’t complain. The desserts were the only good thing, they were tasty. When it came to the bill, we spoke to numerous waiters but they refused to take half of the Pierre Chaud off (you order it for two, and I literally had one piece, my daughter had more as she was hungry, but didn’t like it as it was boiled). We did send most of it back. I am now gutted I didn’t take a picture of pink beef slowly boiling on the luke warm metallic plate. Had my family for dinner on Christmas night and whilst the atmosphere & service were excellent out experience was let down by one issue. I had the 1/2 blue lobster special prices at €90. What came was a bowl of spaghetti with a heavy sauce with some pieces of what I have to assume was the lobster. The disc was stodgy and over seasoned and I said this to the waiting staff. I assume it was the manager who came by next and enquired the issue which I outlined, he went to speak to the chef and returned to say that the chef doesn’t use salt which I find astonishing, two of my family work in restaurants in London and one son lives and works in Paris so it’s wasn’t lost in translation. We were looking forward to eating here as it was recommended by our hotel but it might have been an off night. The service was trying to be great but missed many details, no silverware, one appetizer missing, no drink menu but a huge book of wine. It would be better to have a couple of reliable wines and if you want a larger selection then offer the book. The food was hit and miss. Looked pretty but did not have much flavor for the sea bream but the duck breast was better but a bit overcooked. The fondue was fun and the cheese sauce was great. Shocking bad food for a restaurant that pretends to be fancy. We were here for a Christmas eve dinner and the whole meal was mediocre. Some dishes were just plain terrible. One in our group ordered off the Christmas menu. 75 euro Japanese “Wagyu” was terrible. For the price, it’s completely unacceptable to served premade, overcooked dish, drenched in sauce to hide the imperfections. Ordered rare, but it was way overcooked. 3 strips of steak was drenched in sauce to hide. I don’t think the steak was cooked to order. Even mash potatoes that came as a side was pre-made and set out to dry. To serve this garbage as the “Christmas special” menu is appalling. Other dishes were similar. Escargot seemed like it was prepared in batches and sat on the counter for a while. We visited Atmosphère for lunch and were pleased with it. We got to know of this restaurant both on the Michelin guide and from Rick Steves' France guidebook. Rarely do you find any establishment with recommendations from both. We got their lunch menu and were pleased with their starters and dessert. Unfortunately, we chose the wrong mains and ordered their Hot Stone Grill. It just wasn't what we had expected (we had to cook the meat ourselves on a Hot Stone Grill) and it's entirely our fault therefore I decided to still go with the five stars.

A disgrace. Being in France for 10 days and this is the worse restaurant by far. Ladie that took care of us was good but food was terrible except for bottled of wine. Duck magret was tasteless and hard as a sole. Pavlova was uneatable, merengue was so hard that cannot be cut with fork. It really felt like a tourist trap. What a disgrace for french food.

We came here for dinner at short notice and we were not disappointed. The restaurant had a lovely view out the back of it as it is on the side of the river (try and get one of these tables if you can!). The food was delicious and served very promptly. Most of all, we give high compliments to our waiter who was very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

You are in chamonix. You want to Impress your friends about stories of French food. You look for Michelin star restaurants. You check atmosphere and see really high prices. You say - this has to be the best French food in town. Unfortunately, this is a tourist trap with really ordinary, mass produced and boring food. And given the volume of tourists coming to chamonix, I don’t think they care. Good luck.

Venus à 6 personnes pour un anniversaire et dépensé plusieurs centaines d euros, quelle mauvaise surprise de constater sur la note finale un supplément de 6 euros par personne pour un gratin de quelques pomme de terre. C est se moquer du client lorsque que l on voit ce que l on a consommé. Mauvais moyen pour fidéliser la clientèle et peu commerçant.
