The best bar in Chamonix. Super cool & friendly staff. Oscar, Autumn, So, Fred and the rest of the crew make the place what it is. Great food, authentic atmosphere and good value. We’re frequent patrons, and for good reason.

Guy outside the bar (clearly did not even work there) told us it was closed when looking to grab a drink. Bar was supposed to be open for another hour and a half on a Friday night mind you. Very rude and impolite. Would not recommend.

We were 2 people that visited the place for burgers. The burgers were delicious. The atmosphere is very alive and we enjoyed the rock music in the background. The staff was very friendly. The prices are very good for Chamonix. Fully recommended.

I was here with 8 friends for a few beers and burgers. I was left waiting for my food after everyone in my company had received their order. I asked our waiter, he ignored me. I asked his colleague, he said 2 minutes. 30 minutes after my friends had finished their food I asked again and received my order. When I went to pay our bill (300+ Euros) I asked if they could do something to compensate for the wait, like offer me my burger for free or something. Our waiter said no and threated to "flip out" and that I would regret if I continued. Waiter was aggressive and blamed management. Worst experience in many many years. Service was terrible and food was not good. If I could give it a 0/5 I would. Don't go here to eat.

I had the fish and chips. If you're British, forget it. It was very bad and so small. The fried fish was hard and overcooked and looked like the type of cheap frozen fish you would buy from the freezer section in a supermarket. However, we were a table of 4 and the other 3 people at the table enjoyed their meals. One had a triple decker burger with wedges which I was told was delicious. Another had a hearty salad with bacon and chicken, again great. And another small burger with fries. Everyone was happy bar me. Never mind. I would return but would certainly order something else. Prices are good for the area.

Came here for beer and coffee. Nice outdoor seating with great views of big mountains. Everyone sitting outside in ski boots drinking coffee and beer. I got the cafe vennois with the whip creme on it. Really good 👍 Place is busy, not so easy to get a seat.

Very bad attitude from the brasserie who serves drinks his name is adrian , he delt with me in very bad way I ordered one hot chocolate which costed 5 euros and then his colleague was going to perform the transaction after that adrian told him no not lesa than 10 euros and then he told me to withdraw money from the atm machine and I couldn’t do that as I have credit cards only and can’t withdraw from the machine after that he told me go outside kicking me off the place making a sarcasm of me and jokes, i really very disappointed as I came here based on recommendation from google maps but really this place doesn’t know how to deal with tourists this is the first place I visited in france that delt with me in that way I would never recommend it to anyone even if food is good abc of hospitality is how to deal and treat customers

Depuis au moins une semaine le serveur du matin a rasé sa moustache ... Dommage ... La moustache est essentielle. Elle déterminé la physionomie. Elle donne l'air doux, tendre, violent, croque-mitaine, bambocheur, entreprenant ! L'homme moustachu , le vrais, celui qui porte son poil fièrement est beau .

Omg the service was so warm, and nice, it felt we are at home, i really recomend this place, and the food....🤤 what can i say, you want to take home with you,but then your home is 1000km away you know it will stay only in your memory, cant wait to come back.

Service was fast and my server was very nice and attentive. My mocktail was delicious. I also had chicken wings and fries. Both came out piping hot! So that meant it was fresh and it also tasted very good!

Nous sommes arrivés pour manger vers 15h00 car l’établissement propose un service continu. Aucun accueil des serveurs, pas meme un bonjour. Pas de professionnalisme dans la tenue et encore moins dans les conversations des serveurs qui se permettent de denigrer et d’insulter les clients en off. Honteux d’entendre ce type de conversation. Service non professionnel ou les plats sont posés a table sans aucun mot du serveur .. Seul point positif : la cuisine qui est quantitative. Des frites maisons auraient eté un plus. Passez votre chemin

Je ne recommande absolument pas nous avons payer 75 euros ce qui est trop chère ! Nous étions a l'apéro qu'on nous apporter deja le plat ! Et la salade était non assaisonner il fallait que je le fasse moi meme les tomate dure et pas bonne ! Très déçu !

The food was great and a curious mix of fastish food, e.g. burgers or fish and chips with traditional French fare, e.g. tartiflette, which is what I had. The service wasn't great with seemingly only a single waiter able to take orders 🙄 As it was rather busy this meant a bit of wait

Excellent restaurant bon copieux on en a pour notre argent. Le personnel est très sympathique j'ai pris un hamburger c'était du steak haché boucher on a pris aussi un filet de poulet avec son jambon Tome au vin blanc délicieux une tuerie. Seul petit bémol les frites sont bonnes mais pas faite maison. Je conseille vivement

A nice burgerplace on the side of the street. Nice robust tables and good staff. Close to the trainstation but it didnt bothe me. The food was good, the fries were crisp and the burger was very good (I ordered the biggest on of course). Not very cheap but still worth it.

J'ai jamais connu ça. Jamais !!! Sevice au top ! Cuisine d'exception ! Cocktails incroyable ! La team est tellement gentille et professionnel que je reviendrai sur chaque passé à Chamonix. Vous serez bien reçu et bien restauré. Ne changer rien pour pour 2026. BRAVO !

Pas cher et bon personnel

Unfortunately, awful service. Ordered drinks, nachos to start, and main meals. Nachos good but then waited at least an hour. Questioned the wait, told burgers on way. Waited another 20 mins but no sign of main meals. Paid for what we had and left. No apology or explanation. Other diners were receiving meals.

Jai pris l’apéritif dans cette endroit, on a commandé avec mon compagnon le nachos à la carte d’un pris approximatif de 18 e Les nachos servi avec deux “sauces” Une “guacamole” (de l’avocat mixé) et autre crème. J’ai donc décidé de commander un “pico de gallo” en supplément chose à la quelle 3 serveurs ont répondu “on verra”. J’ai donc décidé de demander une dernier fois en disant que je pouvais la payer en supplément et je ne l’ai jamais reçu. Très déçue du service client.

Great burgers and beer right by Chamonix train station. Best value children's menu we found on our trip. We went 2 nights in a row. Classic burger and wedges was delicious but really recommend the peak burger with the hash brown and peppercorn sauce.

Favoriete restaurant in Chamonix! Fijne sfeer, heerlijke burgers, gaaf interieur. Fijn om na een lange dag in de bergen neer te strijken. Goede porties, veel keuze uit verschillende burgers of andere gerechten. Ook veel keuze in biertjes.

Comfortable outside dining area with good food. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The fiid was good, not great.

Do yourself a favor and don't eat here. We sat at 4 pm and ordered drinks and our food. Our drinks came as the tables filled up around us. As we waited, we were watching the time to catch our tour bus. About 4:20 pm, we noticed all the tables that sat after us were already eating... mind you, they sat after we ordered drinks and food. We only ordered a salad, potato wedges, and a Charcuterie Board plus 2 orders of chicken nuggets. After inquiring about our order, I saw the waitress look down at her machine and stroll through the orders, and then press some entries. At 4:35 p.m., we inquired again, and she said it was on the way. All the tables around us were finished and emptied by the time our food finally arrived. Our beers sat empty, and never once did we get any follow-up to see if we wanted a refill. We had to go into the restaurant to ask for the bill. It was very fru

Nous sommes arrivés à 19h30 partis à 21h30 pour 2 adultes et un enfant , il a fallu 45 minute pour avoir un mojito , un diabolo et une bière . Et 1h10 pour avoir 3 Burger ! Le resto n’étais pas plein il y avais 3-4 serveurs le notre nous a carrément ballancé le menu sur la table du genre maintenant « dermerdé vous . » les tables arrivées après nous ont été servis bien avant et si par malheur c’était leurs « pote » c’était servis immédiatement ! L’ambiance étais sans sourir sans politesse ! Une chose est sur nous sommes très déçus par ce restaurant .

Frühstück bis 11 Uhr...Um 10 vor 11 gab es Bereits nichts mehr zu bestellen. Snäcks ab 11.30Uhr, in der Zwischenzeit gab es außer Getränke nichts zu bestellen. In meinen Augen völlig daneben und Kunden unfreundlich. Ich Empfehle das Kaffee direkt gegenüber.

Best atmosphere in Chamonix for drinks and food with friendly staff. We came here a couple of times first for drinks on a busy Saturday evening. Then for food on a Sunday lunchtime. Both times the staff although very busy were really friendly and made an effort. The menu had a lot of choice and although we only shared loaded wedges we wanted to try more but it didn’t start till 5pm. Would recommend!

Forgot my hat in the restaurant. When I came back 2 days after to recover it, the waiter said he had seen it but his boss had thrown it to the trash, as she has a policy of throwing lost items to the bin after 24h (???). Far more annoying than an overcooked burguer or poor service...

We had the best Nachos here. The waiter advised us to share and it was definitely too much for one person 🤭😁!

Nous sommes arrivés à l'heure du déjeuner, et le restaurant n'était pas trop bondé. Il y avait trois serveurs, mais nous avons dû chercher nous-mêmes une table et prendre le menu, pendant que les trois employés discutaient entre eux. J'étais avec mon enfant de six ans, qui avait très soif. Nous avons fait signe à un serveur, il a hoché la tête, mais nous avons continué à attendre en vain, car personne n'est venu. Finalement, nous sommes partis, et les trois employés, toujours en train de discuter, nous ont regardés sans même poser de question. Le service était vraiment déplorable.

Bon rapport qualité prix, limite trop copieu. C'est comble de ne pas prendre la carte restaurant dans un restaurant.

Good location next to the station and with good outdoor seating. My burger was overcooked and not good enough for a burger restaurant. Service was mixed, i complained for being ignored, i was told i wasn't in the waiter's line of sight and didn't get an apology. Very poor.

Walked in Feb 8th 2025 and despite several tables available were told they were “full”. We went outside and as we were deciding a new place we were told to “get out”. Food looked good but too bad they wouldn’t let us try it

20.50€ ESCALOPE DE POULET SAVOYARDE, fondue (cheese hotpot) with already in the bowl chicken breast baked with the melted cheese and some ham. The ham (Sand Daniel raw ham 18 months DOP refining) is quite a suprise. The chicken is kind of dry and mine has a little part that's still raw, which is kind of unacceptable. However, the cheese cooked with wine is so good. This is a better option than any fondue if you are dining on your own. 20.50€ for a good portion of chicken breast soaked in melted chicken, nice ham, sided with fries and baguette slices, what can you ask for more? (Baguette slices are sometimes forgotten in a rush hour, just ask for it)

if this is a hamburger restaurant, then this is not acceptable.. good salad, superb chicken wings, ok wedges, delicious vin chaud and pomme chaud but the hamburger is really dull, overcooked meat, not juicy enough.

We stopped for lunch and ordered a hamburger and a club sandwich. The staff was not very pleasant; it was an unfriendly welcome, and you felt like a burden to the waitstaff. We ordered rosé wine, which arrived nearly warm. The hamburger bun was dry, and the meat tasteless. The club sandwich had some sort of sauce that had no flavor, only added to prevent the bread from being too dry. The waitstaff seemed eager to finish their shift; they appeared tired and demotivated. A server's job is precisely to welcome guests friendly. To me, this place feels like a so-called tourist trap.

Très déçu par notre expérience dans ce restaurant. Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été glacial, pas chaleureux : la serveuse nous a donné l’impression de déranger, avec une attitude froide et aucun sourire. Nous avons ensuite reçu nos plats avant d’avoir les couverts, et avons dû attendre pour les obtenir, ce qui a rendu nos plats froids. Au moment de demander l’addition, on nous a répondu d’aller payer à l’intérieur, alors que les tables autour de nous étaient encaissées directement à table. Nous avons donc dû nous déplacer pour régler, ce qui est loin d’être professionnel. En résumé, un service catastrophique qui gâche complètement l’expérience. Je ne recommande pas.

Le restaurant est situé tout de suite à la sortie de la gare de Chamonix direction le centre ville. Cette année l'équipe est chaleureuse et a l'écoute du client, bravo pour avoir rectifié le relationnel service/client depuis l'année dernière.

Super emplacement, très pratique en arrivant de la gare, la vue est cool selon la table sur la terrasse. Carte pub sympa, la cuisine pub est tout à fait au niveau. Bonne ambiance. Prix tout à fait dans la norme. Ouvert plus tôt que les autres cafés le matin, et donc très pratique avant de débuter les activités montagne qui commencent tôt également. Tristement, obligé de mettre une étoile au service vraiment trop moyen, et très inconstant. Notamment, voir une table arrivée après moi être servie avant même que je ne passe ma commande, ce qui m'est arrivé plusieurs fois et à beaucoup d'autres également apparemment, n'est pas acceptable.

This place is great!!! We’ve tried a few places in Cham but this was our favourite so went back a couple of times. Food is excellent value for money compared to many others. Teenagers loved it too. Burgers are huge and the best I’ve had in a long while. Salads are amazing too but be warned they’re not small… which is great too. Service was really quick and pretty friendly considering how busy they get. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

Nous avons très bien mangé. Les produits semblent être de bonne qualité. L'accueil n'est pas des plus chaleureux dommage. Habitué des restaurants Parisien c'est la première fois qu'on nous oblige à régler au minimum un pourboire de 5% sur le total de l'addition !

Good place, I went two days straight to have dinner. First night I had the meat burger, and the second night I had a little problem, I asked for the chicken burger with avocado and bacon but it came with no avocado or bacon, I asked someone if they could do something and he told that I should have realized before giving it a little bite… i asked to other waiter that I talked the first night and he treat me excellent giving me a new burger although I only asked him to add what was missing before

Que dire!! Le restaurant vous propose un ensemble de plats et de boissons diversifiés, de qualité, le tout a un tarif plutôt abordable par rapport a sa localisation. Les articles sont servis par des serveurs énergiques qui ont le sourire, de quoi jalouser les plus grands restaurants du guide Michelin. Je conseille vivement

Le serveur faisait la gueule juste ce lundi ou bien il est tous les jours comme ça ? Froid, pas aimable et sourire inexistant ! Il faut le mettre à la cuisine ou à la plonge, mais pas au contact du public … Ses collègues féminines sont bien plus sympas ! Heureusement que les salades sont bonnes et copieuses et le cadre agréable.

great place, lots of seating, was almost full but we still got food within 10 minutes of arriving. burgers were great, ingredients were of a higher quality than the other burger joints we’ve been to in cham. prices were perfectly reasonable.

Très mal accueilli par les serveurs qui nous ont vus mais pris notre commande au bout d’une demi-heure. Servi 3/4 d’heures après et avec des plats manquants. La politesse n’est également pas un point positif pour l’un des employés. La cuisine est médiocre, pas de sauces dans les burger n’y les salades. Pas de propositions pour une carafe d’eau. Restaurant bien placé dans le centre mais beaucoup de points à revoir !

Had a burger and cider. The burger had lack of taste and lack of sauce. I had to add ketchup to make it better, but for me this is no-no. Wedges with skin were okay. Cider they served me 8% alcohol and even waiter said he never seen 8% before. Didn’t like it at all. When I asked the bill, there were a coffee and something else I didn’t order.

Burgers très bien travaillés, avec des produits frais, personnel sympathique, je recommande fortement. Petit plus pour la vue imprenable sur les montagnes depuis la terrasse.

Service catastrophique, j'ai pris un parasol dans la tête a cause du serveur et un temps d'attente très long pour un simple barquette de frites bière la prochaine fois j'irai au macdo qui est pas loin et de plus il s'agit d'un restaurant qui ne prend pas les tickets restaurant.

Service décevant, c'est dommage : le serveur dit qu'il ramène le pain 2 fois mais ne le ramène pas au bout d'une dizaine de minutes j'ai du demander à une autre serveuse. Dommage car le cadre est bien

This place is very good. The people who work here are so good at what they do. Very professional and polite. The service was quick. I chose to have a classic burger which was a good price not expensive and wow I can honestly say it was the best burger I have had in such a long long time. It was hot, fresh and delicious I really enjoyed it. We are from the UK, only staying for 4 days but I will make sure I return to Evolution 1904 to eat here again. Thanks Guys 10 out of 10 Returned Here today Thursday 18th as promised And yet again great service and amazing food at a very good price highly recommended this really nice place 👍👍

Good cafe, friendly staff quiet during early afternoon but seemed to liven up later. Good food, decent portions for the price. Quite affordable for Chamonix. Cheese on the platter was very good quality but could do with more tomatoes and olives to break up all the dairy.

Nous avons très bien mangé. Les hamburgers sont délicieux. Nous sommes arrivés à 14h et nous étions 10. Ils nous ont acceptés tout de suite. L'ambiance et le cafre est sympa.

He pedido un café bien caliente y me lo trajeron helado. No pusieron ni azúcar ni nada. Una hamburguesa muy rica pero ni servilletas. Esa poca atención no me gustó nada.

J'aurais mis 5 étoiles si les steaks de boeuf des burgers auraient été façon bouchere. Sinon rien à redire.

On s'y sent plutôt bien, le cadre est sympa. Manque de place tout de même. La cuisine est bonne. Burger frite. Prix un peu cher, mais c bon. Le service est très serviable.

Siamo entrati in questo bar un po’ a caso, dettati dalla fame del primo giorno! Panini enormi ed insalate ottime. Il prezzo per le insalate davvero eccessivo per gli ingredienti ma tutto sommato davvero buone! Servizio ottimo con camerieri super simpatici

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant / bar. My server whose name I believe was Anthony from the bill was the absolute best! He was single-handedly taking and delivering orders for a packed restaurant and shared excellent recommendations. He even offered to let me try small samples of two beers, which led to my decision to eat a full meal here versus explore another spot. The food here is also great - typical pub food served high quality, especially their chicken nuggets which are fully homemade. Great vibes all around too!
