As others have said, this is an exceptional hotel. First the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. The room was immaculate and well thought out. The location can’t be beat for hanging out, or skiing, since it is close to both gondolas and a free bus to anywhere you need to go. Finally the dinner. It’s an experience not to be missed.

Wonderful hotel, with exceptional staff who were kind and very accommodating, especially with our young daughter. Although it isn’t a hotel set up for young children, and dinner starts a little too late for young families at 7.15pm, the staff did everything they could to make the stay work for our family. Excellent location close to the lifts and bus route. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff! We really enjoyed our stay. The food was great too. Only thing I miss is a mini fridge in the room for us to store our snacks. We also missed having a brighter roof lamp while getting ready etc. But that's just minor details. Everything else was exceptional!

Had a wonderful 4 night stay for a long weekend skiing in Morzine. The hotel is perfectly placed for the slopes, shops and nightlife with everything in very easy reach. One thing to be mindful of if you are travelling by car is that main centre is occasionally closed to vehicles, which we found out after our transfer had to drop us a couple of hundred metres down the road - luckily we only had a wheeled case, but with lots of luggage it might be an issue and something to check! We had a half board stay and the buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choice for the healthy (and unhealthy) appetites!|Dinner was excellent, with a set menu each night, but ingredients of really good quality and presentation and service were of a high standard.||The SPA is quite small, as you'd expect given the size of hotel, but perfectly adequate for a short visit and can pre book your slots at rece

This hotel is so charming! We stayed here to ski in the Portes du Soleil area. The staff at the hotel and restaurant could not have been more kind. It's in a great location right on the Tourism Office / Carousel square.||The food was a highlight everyday ;-). Half-board includes a plentiful breakfast, with a choice of 3 items from the kitchen (a daily special, omelet, or egg), and a buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, hams/charcuterie, beans, pastries, breads, cereal, jams, honey, yogurts, cheese, coffee/cappuccino, tea, juices, and fruit. Dinner was top notch. I cannot emphasize enough just how delicious and beautifully presented were the dinners here. There was soup, appetizer, entree, cheese buffet and dessert daily (except Tuesdays, which is a day with the typical Savoyard raclette, cheese, charcuterie, potatoes and a dessert). Perfect warm, welcoming, and cosy stay walking distance to the ski lifts. Very good food at the restaurant, something new every day. And a nice spa to relax after a long day skiing.

Although it’s not ski-in/ski-out, it’s centrally located with quick and easy access to the lifts toward Les Gets and Avoriaz|The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautiful, very stylish and comfortable. I cannot compliment the people that work here any higher if I tried. Everyone's engaged and the owners clearly have developed a great team to help you enjoy your stay

Had a lovely stay here in a mezzanine room. Food was great. The desserts were artistically presented as well as tasty. Sophie and her team were really friendly. Great position with the Pleney and Super Morzine gondolas nearby.

I couldn't think of a better place to stay for a week in Morzine. The staff were excellent, the room was clean, the food was delicious and the location is perfect. 5 mins from the lift, bus stop outside the door. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for an amazing stay!

My daughter and I stayed here and could not have felt more welcome, especially being unable to speak French. The staff were super friendly, service orientated and extremely efficient. Ski passes organised for us within 10 minutes and at a discounted rate. Recommendations for ski hire, who were also amazing. We did a half board and were super impressed with the quality and amount of food served. The restaurant service was efficient but very friendly and wine recommendations were all on point. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return one day!

This was my first time in Morzine to mountain bike. The hotel is exceptional. The owners, staff, food and location far exceeded any expectations I may have had. This will be my go to hotel for future visits ( which start next year !!! )

I absolutely love this hotel. The staff are amazingly hospitable and professional. The hotel is gorgeous and clean. Our room was very nicely appointed and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was varied and eating out on the terrace at the back you really can’t believe that you’re in the absolute centre of Morzine. It is so tranquil. We’ve been frequenting the bar and bistrot for a couple of years now and can’t fault anything. The food is delicious and the service is unflustered even when they’re really busy. Thank you to the whole team for making our birthday weekend special.

Excellent place for a stay in Morzine, right in the heart of the town, close to Super Morzine, Pleney and Crusaz lifts. Breakfast was delicious, although a bit boring variety-wise. A refrigerator in the room would be certainly useful.

Très bel accueil, beau séjour. Equipe souriante et avenante. Chambre très propre et douillé avec café et thé 😍. Superbe vue et terrasse sympas. Services excellents : Café bar et grillades savoureuses. Recommande ce bel hôtel. J'ai passé aussi un beau moment en massage et soins, et détente au jacuzzi. Le seul petit bémol est le réseau wifi qui est bien en chambre et en intérieur hotel ou proximité mais plus capricieux en extérieur à l'arrière hôtel.

Si je pouvais mettre 6 étoiles pour le service, je le ferai ! Visité dans le cadre de la Spartan Race, la gérante a été aux petits soins dès mon appel 2 jours avant pour ma question sur le parking jusqu'à mon départ après la course et après un diner servi gentiment après l'horaire limite habituel. Je pouvais litteralement voir la ligne d'arrivée de la course depuis le balcon de ma chambre. J'ai rarement eu affaire à un personnel aussi adorable.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, proche de tout. Le personnel très accueillant et toujours présent pour nous rendre service.

We have just returned from a fantastic week in Morzine. The Hotel Samoyede is perfectly placed in the central square and near to the Pleney and Super M lifts. Staying in the hotel was a lovely tranquil experience from the warm welcome on arrival all the way through to our departure. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were always friendly and warm. They arranged our lift passes and insurance. The evening meal was delicious and beautifully presented by the attentive staff. We would highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Morzine.

Super dejligt hotel. Centralt midt i byen, suveræn og oprigtig service, Alt fungerede, Lækker mad og vi blev hjulpet med alle vores forespørgsler - stort og småt - med et stort smil. Hotellet er meget personorienterede og indrettede sig efter vores ønsker.

L'emplacement est idéal en plein centre de Morzine avec accès à toutes les activités à pied. Grâce à la carte Multipass les activités et les transports sont gratuits. De nombreux restaurants pour tous les budgets aux abords de l'hôtel. Chambre agréable et calme. Nous recommandons pleinement cet hôtel.

Séjour parfait tant du point de vue du confort et de la situation au centre de la station ou tout peut se faire à pied tout en garantissant le calme literie confortable et chambres spacieuses . Nous y retournerons donc sans hésiter si nous revenons à Morzine

Nous avons été très ravi de notre séjour de 5 nuit, tout était top, l'accueil, la gentillesse du personnel et des patrons 👌 Petit déjeuner au top, le souper au top .... Chambres, spa, restaurant, ... d'une propriété irréprochable. Que dire de plus.... on reviendra.

Everything was excellent! I really do not know which aspect to mention first: the spacious room with the very comfortable bed and the amazing Nuxe personal care products provided; the gorgeous breakfast and especially dinner (every day get like a dream!! And we were also offered an abundant amount of cheese and charcuterie on the day of our arrival because we arrived late and the restaurant was closed by then); the peaceful spa (we always managed to enjoy the different facilities by ourselves, while other guests were enjoying other facilities); the very kind and always willing-to-help staff members at the restaurant and at the reception; the location of the hotel. Honestly, we can easily list Le Samoyède among the best hotels we have stayed at!

My family stayed here on a half board rate over Xmas week for our first skiing trip. The hotel service was impeccable. We took a family room with a mezzanine floor so kids had their own space. The hotel provided ski lockers free of charge. The restaurant was very accommodating of my family's needs with menu changes made (one pescatarian and two picky kids). The breakfast was filling with fresh pastries/cakes and omelets and the evening set menu each night was amazing. Special shout out to Emelie (restaurant manager). The jacuzzi/sauna/steam room was much needed after a day's skiing. The location was ideal. Walking distance to pleney and super morzine ski lifts and opposite the bus stop to catch Bus A to procleau (Avoriaz). The little square had lots of cute shops and a Christmas feel. The local restaurants had lots of evening menu offers but we didn't venture out due

My family and I have just completed a seven night stay here at this beautiful hotel. The location is excellent and very close to restaurants, shops and lifts to the ski areas, as well as a free bus stop and service to other ski lifts. The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff from the front desk through to the restaurant are a notch above anything I have experienced before. Emilie who works so hard and manages the restaurant with her awesome team made us feel so comfortable. In our family of four we have mixed diet requirements and the team took every opportunity to ensure we were catered for. The food everyday itself was amazing. The hotel and location itself is amazing, but the team bring it to life and enhance your experience. I highly recommend this hotel and team. Thank you for making our trip so special. We will certainly be back.

Hôtel situé en face de l'office de tourisme à 5 min à pieds de tout ( location de ski, boutiques, restaurant, animations, le bus pour le prodains express au pied l'hôtel ...) La chambre est propre et bien entretenue, la salle de bain est spacieuse avec toilette séparé. La terrasse donne vue sur la place de l'hôtel de tourisme, elle est partagée avec la chambre d'a côté. Un personnel agréable et polyvalent, toujours disponible, souriant, qui prennent le temps de discuter, jamais très loin sans être invasif. Le petit déjeuner est certes moins garni que dans d'autres hôtel, mais c'est l'un de plus qualitatif, j'ai pu goûter à un rayon de miel pour la première fois et il y a une suggestion du jour différente chaque matin. Le restaurant l'Atelier est incroyable, avec un rapport qualité prix et un service très agréable, ça dépayse de Paris.

Superbe hôtel dans un cadre magnifique et emplacement exceptionnel. La direction et le personnel sont d'une gentillesse incroyable en fournissant les explications pour randonner.En plus, la clientèle peut bénéficier de la fameuse carte Multi pass. Seul ombre au tableau : le SPA, bien que très propre, est un peu petit et mériterait quelques améliorations. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

J’ai pris une glace en terrasse dans cet établissement. La glace était bonne. Toutefois, ayant trébuché et m’étant tordu la cheville sur cette même terrasse, lorsque j’ai demandé de la glace (des glaçons) au serveur, elle m’a été refusée au motif que le restaurant n’aurait pas beaucoup de glace (!). En insistant et en élevant un peu la voix, le serveur m’a finalement apporté des glaçons….dans un verre. Cela se passe de commentaire.

Hotel was in perfect location for everything from uplifts, restaurants and shops. Rooms were kept clean and tidy and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would stay here again.

Excellent établissement, ce qui est finalement normal au vu du prix. Il convient malgré tout de souligner deux points : - l'amabilité de l'ensemble du personnel, dans l'hôtel comme en salle, toujours souriant, jamais guindé : - le très très haut niveau de la demi-pension. On pourra regretter, mais les propriétaires n'y peuvent rien, l'hyperprésence d'une britannique clientèle, qui empêche de jouir calmement du restaurant et de l'espace balnéo.

Chambre mezzanine à 512 euros la nuit. Tv un peu petite, pas de frigo et chambre longue à chauffer, car ventilation par le haut et maximum 23°. Donc, trois étoiles pour le personnel, l'emplacement et le cosi du chalet.

Très bel hôtel, idéalement situé au cœur de Morzine. On se sent vraiment dans un grand chalet, c'est splendide! Les chambres sont très belles, propres et très confortables. Le coin spa est très agréable et accessible gratuitement. Petit déjeuner varié, copieux, parfait! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'histoire de cet établissement qui est resté dans la famille depuis sa construction et n'a pas été revendu à un grand groupe comme beaucoup d'autres. Le plus dur était de repartir… Ne changez rien svp!

Sophia, the Hotel Manager, was so thoughtful. There was an event in Morzine that was outside of our room. When we asked for earplugs she instead offered us another upgraded - and more quiet - room on the other side of the hotel. The rooms are great and the hotel is the best location in Morzine!

Chambre minuscule +/-15 m² ( nous avions tout de même réservé une suite junior pour 3 personnes ) , banquettes ou un enfant de 14 ans ne sait même pas étendre ses jambes durant la nuit. La télé minuscule ( plus petite que mon écran d’ordi), salle de bain suit le reste: minuscule avec une baignoire égale à un cercueil. Pas de Produits hygiène mis à disposition 3 malheureuses petites bouteilles par pers le 1 er jour. ( pour rappel dans un 4 étoiles on en remet tous les jours ) peignoirs jamais échanges ! Bonjour hygiène .. les draps de lits jamais changé durant les 8 nuitées. Oreiller de la banquette était jaune ! Petit déjeuner : du jamais vu … aucun choix et tous les jours les mêmes produits proposés . Rideaux et tenture: sales et un nid à poussière Petit colis pour le voyage : attention sympathique mais si c’est pour avoir 2 jus de fruits Granini pour 3 pers. Là y a encore un soucis Le

We have consistently rented out catered chalets for the week with big groups of 20 of us. However with Covid and the current times, there were only 4 of us prepared to travel so we decided against our usual practice and opted for a hotel. Hotel Le Samoyede certainly didn’t disappoint. The food was incredible and it was fine dining every night. This was a massive positive during our stay but probably the most enjoyable factor was the amazing owners and staff. From the top to the bottom, everyone was super pleasant and professional and we all have booked our return trip next year. Highly recommend this hotel

Absolutely loved this place. I honestly can't fault any element as the rooms, food and staff were amazing. What also really helps is the fantastic location. I don't think you could be better placed for both lifts and the wonderful restaurants.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of Morzine. Food (one of the best restaurants in Morzine) was amazing. Staff and management were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Lifts and buses to the slopes are a few minutes away. There is no better location in Morzine.

Le Samoyede es un hotel tradicional y caro , con una excelente ubicación ( siendo este punto el único que encaja en la categoría 4 estrellas, aunque está lejos de justificar su precio ) y muy buena comida a la noche . Sin embargo el desayuno es casi básico , no responde ni a la categoría que supone tener ni a su precio. Los cuartos tienen una decoración antigua, ya que la reforma ha llegado sólo hasta la ´puerta exterior de los mismos . El día que llegué la bañera y su ducha no funcionaban ( lo cual encuentro inaceptable cuando se paga casi 300 euros la noche ) , por lo que tuve que tomar mi baño en el subsuelo donde estaba el sauna , con el consiguiente traslado .Esperaba que el hotel tuviera una atención para conmigo debido a este contratiempo no menor que me generó gran inconmodidad con el cansancio que traía por tantas horas de viaje, sin embargo no sólo no me ofrecieron ninguna co

Le Samoyede is a traditional and expensive hotel, with a very good location (being this the only one that fits in the category 4 stars, although it is far from justifying its price) and very good food at night. However, the breakfast is almost basic, it does not respond to the category that supposes to have, nor to its price. The rooms have an old decoration, since the reform has only reached the outer door of them. The day I arrived the bathtub and its shower did not work (which I find unacceptable when you pay almost 300 euros a night), so I had to take my bath in the basement where the sauna was, with the consequent transfer. After that , I was expecting that the hotel had an attention for me because of this mishap , however not only they did not offer me any compensation (as it would any establishment of this category ), but the owner refused to give me a discount when I requeste

Tu t'arrêtes pour boire un verre au bar du Samoyède, la Taverne, tu dis bonjour en arrivant et tu t'installes sur la jolie terrasse. Tu attends un quart d'heure et la serveuse (qui nous a vu) sert la table d'à côté et s'en va, sans même venir nous voir pour nous proposer une carte ou passer une commande. C'est ça le commerce à Morzine, ça donne vraiment envie de se barrer et d'aller voir ailleurs. C'est ce qu'on a fait. 👍🤣😂😁

This is an amazing hotel! It is in the middle of town within short walking distance to both the Super Morzine and Pleney lifts which gives you access to the whole mountain. The atmosphere is lovely, service is excellent, rooms are large and modern but with the traditional wooden chalet design. The spa is nice and relaxing after a long day on the slopes. The food is fantastic. Definitely recommend!

Afgelopen week 4 dagen met gezin ( 3 man) in hotel gezeten. Locatie hotel is goed midden in centrum en vlakbij (5 min loopafstand) de liften, zowel gebied Morzine als Avoriaz. Kamer prima, iets te klein voor drie man, niet echt bijzonder. Eten was zeer goed, met keuze van uitstekende wijnen. Ontbijt ook uitstekend. Bediening en eigenaar hotel erg goed en vriendelijk. Enige minpunt is het lawaai op straat in de nacht, maar ja risico van in het centrum zitten. Samenvattend uitstekend hotel en goede uitvalsbasis om te skiën. |Aanrader en gaan zeker terug komem

Een prima plek om een kop koffie te drinken. We hebben er helaas niet gegeten want de keuken is pas open vanaf 12u maar de gerechten leken redelijk voor de prijs. |De koffie is van goede kwaliteit en de taart van de dag voor €6 totaal geen slechte prijs voor de omgeving. |Als het zonnetje schijnt is de aanrader om op het terrasje te zitten.

Een oubollig hotel met slechte service. De kamers gelijken geenszins op de kamers van de website, hier is flink fotoshop gebruikt. De service is ondermaats, de hotelklanten zijn duidelijk minder belangrijk dan de klanten van de brasserie. Receptie is nooit bemand, men heeft geen enkel gelegenheid tot aankaarten van problemen. Kamers zijn muf en veel te warm. Een absolute tegenvaller ... zeker af te raden!

Dit hotel is veel te duur, bied geen service (jobstudenten) en 's nachts is er veel lawaai. ||Het hotelmanagement is nooit bereikbaar bij problemen, zijn te druk met de brasserie vooraan bezig. ||Te mijden!

Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich , aufmerksam und kompetent . Das Abendessen super 4 Gang Menü . Super Weinkarte . Unsere Zimmer gemütlich mit Holz , kleines WC aber separatem Bad. Die Lage ist super Zentral durch das ist es Nachts durch die Heimkehrenden Leute etwas Laut . Was uns gar nicht gefallen hat , ist wie laut das Hotel ist , man hört immer die Türen , das Baden nebenan , einfach sehr Ringhörig.

Kanon hotell med mycket fin mat och service, ligger i centrum, nära till allt, affärer, skidliftar, resturangen har mycket fin mat och då menar jag gourmet mat, om vi inte har fel för oss såg en Michelin logga i fönstret på resturangen.

Kamers waren ok maar je kon moeilijk een douche nemen daar er geen bevestiging voor de douchekop was. Daar het in het centrum gelegen was was er soms s'nachts veel lawaai. Je bent wel overal dicht bij.Het ontbijt was ok maar zonder meer geen variatie en weinig keuze ,dikwijls was er om 9u al geen kaas of fruitsap meer en dit moesten we dan zelf melden. Het avondeten was weinig en zeker niets speciaals absoluut niet gastronomisch te noemen ook voor de kinderen was er weinig variatie en niets voor kinderen meestal was het het eten van de ouders maar dan zonder saus (bv. Voorgerecht tomaat met maïs???) geen kindvriendelijk hotel:geen aparte speelhoek of iets anders voor kinderen voorzien. Wij vonden het personeel soms niet vriendelijk.Een kwade kat die je elke dag in de receptie ligt op te wachten???Bazin rookt in bureau naast het restaurant??? Wij vonden de prijs te hoog prijs/kwalite

Rigtig dejligt hotel midt i byen med egen gourmet restaurant. Desuden cafe/ snackbar. Hotellet har også et lille wellness område med spa og sauna. Brugte hotellet på skiferie. Der er ca. 5-8 min. gang til skiliften

Были в этом отеле в январе2014 .Отель удобно расположен: рядом остановка ски-баса,на котором можно доехать до подъемников Супер-Морзин,Продан и Ньон,а до подъемника Пленей 3 минуты пешком.Напртив отеля-каток и офис по туризму.Все магазины рядом.В отеле замечательный ресторан.Хорошие завтраки и очень хорошие ужины . Каждый день подают разные блюда,и не было ни одного,которое не понравилось бы.Все ОЧЕНЬ вкусно. Персонал отеля внимательный и доброжелательный.Единственное замечание-не всегда оставляют гель для душа-лучше сразу купить свой.На нижнем этаже есть сауна,хаммам и джакузи.
