We really had an absolutely superb trip. From the moment we arrived at the airport and were greeted by hotel staff /minibus driver to the moment we were dropped back at the airport at the end of our trip, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Every staff member, without exception, were friendly, helpful and kind. Fabulous food - lovely breakfast spread, delicious cakes for afternoon tea and very good restaurant quality three course evening meals with plentiful supplies of wine. It was particularly helpful having the ski equipment hire in the hotel itself rather than needing to travel to somewhere else. Staff were well trained in ski fitting. Equipment was of high quality as it was the first time I’ve ever worn ski boots that didn’t really hurt my feet. My room was extremely clean and I was lucky to have a balcony and mountain views. Absolutely fabulous holiday and great value. We were so well looked after by Laura and the team who without exception were cheerful and chatty and interesting. From pickup at the airport to return transfer we didn’t have to think of anything other than having a great time. Outstanding service with ski hire on site and lift passes provided each day meant we didn’t miss a minute of valuable skiing time. Rooms were comfortable with plenty of hot water. The food was exceptional starting with a huge selection for breakfast to delicious cakes for tea and then a restaurant worthy evening meal. Cannot rate this highly enough and I will definitely return again. We were also graced with perfect warm weather and blue skies and plenty of snow after the recent huge snowfall. Perfect few days.

I have just returned from a mid-week break at Hotel Aravis and it ticked all the boxes for us. I have skied for 40+ years and never knew it could be so stress-free!! Paul and his team have everything covered, from airport transfers to ski & boot hire, lift passes etc etc. It's all so convenient for a short break. The team are all super friendly and helpful, they even carry your skis from the front door to the mini bus in the mornings!! The resort is pretty and authentic, the skiing is more than adequate, and even the resort staff on the mountain are all smiley and helpful. It was such a relaxed and happy experience. Blue skies every day, great snow, no lift queues - what's not to love?! Oh and the food in the hotel is top notch, well and above and beyond our expectations. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I had a great ski weekender trip with my 2 teenaged children. The team were incredibly supportive of me visiting as a solo parent. Just little extras like Teak taking us up to grand Bo for teen skis, lending the boys sledges, the evening sledging activity. The food was excellent. We will be back

Our family had such an enjoyable time during our stay at the hotel with Ski Weekender. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made everything feel effortless. The kids forgot their gloves on the first day when we were in the lift queue and the staff went back to the hotel to get them! A* service!||The food was OUTSTANDING and the we met so many lovely people. We will definitely be going again !

This was my first time using Ski Weekender having been to the slopes many times but organising all the elements of the trip myself. I have to say I’ve been missing out! These guys run a slick but super friendly operation where your every need is catered for. If your flight is delayed, ski fitting is still available, as is an evening meal. The food is phenomenal. Proper gourmet restaurant style and all eaten socially in the dining room which makes for lovely, social evenings. The staff are all super friendly and professional and the location of the lodge is ideal, placed equidistant from Grand Bo or La Cluzas. I will definitely be back!

Fifth ski holiday with ski weekender. Brilliant team providing very friendly , efficient , relaxed and comfortable stay. Food is amazing - I’m a veggie and was extremely well catered for . The accommodation is simple , very close to two great resorts and provides everything for a great few days on the snow

Nous sommes allés dans cet hôtel quelques jours en août avec mon fils de 12 ans.l accueil parfait,l hôtel est calme que ce soit en journée ou en soirée.il est très bien placé, énormément de commerçants autour( resto,tabac,etc ..) Le déjeuner est complet vous ne manquerez de rien il y en a pour tout les goûts.le ménage est carré toujours bien fait ! Je recommande+++++++

A very comfortable place to stay, winter or summer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Set in the centre of the village it is closed to amenities and bus routes.

Chambre non chauffée avons eu froid toute la nuit, avons du allumé le radiateur électrique de la salle de bain pour avoir un semblant de Chaleur, et en cas de problèmes plus de réceptionniste à partir de 20h00, ne vaut pas l'arrêt.

Les chambres sont confortables, manque la télé.

Parfait pour une nuité. Chambre très propre et efficace. Personnel au petit soin Terrasse très agrable avec le jardins et son mobiliers.

Paul was really helping with planning & logistics. Hotel is in a great spot with lots of decent climbs nearby. Rooms are comfortable and there’s a bike storage room and tools in the basement for any tweaks required

Este fin de semana he participado en un festival de caricaturas de la zona, y me he alojado en este maravilloso hotelito, con otros colegas. El entorno es una preciosidad. Parece sacado de Sonrisas y lágrimas o Heidi. El hotel es pequeñito, muy romántico y acogedor. El personal y los menús, un 10. Yo he ido en temporada baja, pero dicen que en invierno hay más actividad, por la práctica del esquí⛷☃🏂🎿⛸

The sheer number of people you meet who have stayed here on multiple occasions tells you all you need to know about this place. From start to finish the service is first class; airport pick-up, in house boot hire, faultless food, great advice, friendly staff, rides to both the nearby resorts - this place makes it all so easy. I've been here twice and both times have delivered. The hotel is well located between La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand ski areas with a free connecting bus or the owners of the hotel will take you there in the morning and pick you up at the end of the day. You get breakfast and dinner which is really something to write home about! Plus there's a bar, lounge and gym if you have energy left. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Cette chambre est confortable, très propre, bien décorée et bien équipée .|Sa situation est idéale près des commerçants de st Jean de sixt avec un accès très rapide à la Clusaz et le grand Bornand. Le parking devant la résidence est très pratique .|Le personnel est professionnel, nous sommes bien accueillis

Hôtel très sympa Nous y avons passé une nuit agréable. L’hôtel est très bien placé, au niveau du rond point principal de Saint Jean de Sixt. Les commerces sont à proximité immédiate. La salle de bain est un peu étroite et le parking est petit. Mais il existe de nombreux autres parkings à proximité.

Hôtel très simple mais propre et correct. Par contre après avoir prévenu que nous pourrions rester une nuit de plus pour cause d'enterrement à fixer nous n'avons revu personne à l'accueil et la chambre à été louée Hôtel complet. En plein milieu d'août nous nous sommes retrouvés en vraie difficulté avec toute l'organisation d'un enterrement sur le bras. Je ne le souhaite pas aux nouveaux clients

Friendly, catered ski hotel owned by ski Weekender. Rooms are en-suite, clean and freshly decorated. Great location between La Clusaz and Grand Bornard - free shuttles and free local ski bus to both - 10 min to each.

Lovely resort for that skiing , Cycling, or Hiking break depending on the season. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend it.

Gezellig hotel, ideaal gelegen tussen de 2 grote skigebieden in de regio, op minder dan 50 meter van de bushalte naar beide. Zéér vriendelijke ontvangst en behulpzaam personeel, lekker en compleet ontbijt. Prijs/kwaliteit een absolute aanrader!

Accueil sympathique. Bon petit déjeuner complet. Chambre confortable mais il manquerait un petit bureau avec une chaise. La salle de bain était petite mais fonctionnelle. L'hygiène est bien respectée et l'hôtel était très propre.

Great location with ski weeekender

Truly nothing is to much effort for the great team. Good is fabulous, accomodation great and all the little touches make for a great holiday

Stayed here for a week. Chose it because hey are able to cater to vegan and gluten free diet. Food was excellent, they even found vegan wine which we had every night, and made vegan gluten free cakes for afternoon tea. Skiing was excellent, hassle free travel, extremely friendly staff, and very reasonably priced.

We have stayed here for the past 5 years, and have had a wonderful time. They arrange everything from airport transfers, ski hire and food. The staff are always friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is as good as possible. There food Is very good, and they can accommodate for everyone's dietary needs. We love staying here, and will continue doing so for the foreseeable future.

Great atmosphere and hassle free skiing. This place is amazing. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Airport transfers and half board with delicious food included plus a cosy bar for apres ski. Ski hire on site plus they will book you lessons and take you to and pick you up from the slopes. What more could you ask for? Just Google ski weekender and get yourself there!

Fantastic staff who will help you out beyond the normal, - I needed a trip to the gp and all the staff were lovely - even gave me a lift to the doctors :) also really friendly and the food very enjoyable! Rooms comfy and warm. Highly recommend !
