We stayed end of March so there was no snow in the village but is only a 10 min walk into town and north gondolas easy to get too. Snow up the mountain was still great btw!|Hotel was just ideal, we loved the sauna and steam room. Swimming pool was heated and there’s a pool table in the lounge area.|Beds are super comfy, room was clean. Hotel always smelt lovely!!! (Would be a nice touch to include milk in the room with the tea/coffee.) And breakfast was really nice, lots of choice of hot and cold. |We loved the dog and the staff were helpful when my partner had an accident. Would visit again.

Had the most amazing stay here in February . We drove over with 2 springer spaniels and it was truly amazing . The hotels 2 dogs are both beautiful and was lovely to see them socialising with our two ! |The ‘snack’ food that is available at the hotel is absolutely delicious, all homemade , we loved the lasagne and tartdefluette .|The room was beautiful and we couldn’t fault our stay .
Very welcome staff and owners. Hugely helpful in sorting out lift passes, ski hire with great discounts and restaurant recommendations, which were excellent.|Very good breakfast to set you up for a day in the slopes. Far better than usual fare in average ski hotels.|We had a room at the top which was very spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable and so after enjoying the sauna and steam room, managed to rest weary limbs very well. |Main tow a short walk away.|Definitely be back!
We stayed here in Feb 2026 for a week’s skiing which was booked with Crystal. The whole week was excellent and the hotel was a large part of that. ||On arrival, our room (Room 25) was ready early and, although small given the age of the property, were clean, very comfortable, had a great view and a spacious balcony to enjoy it from. ||Food: The food (breakfast) was typically continental, very tasty and had a great range of breads and cheeses and good coffee which is essential. There were a range of local dishes available from the bar if you wanted a lunch or evening meal which were excellent. As we were leaving early for our flight, they were more than happy to provide a snack for the journey to the airport.||Facilities: The boot room here was well appointed, with heated boot racks, coat hooks and even lockers if you wanted them. There is also a Sauna, Steam Room and swimming pool which
Très belle hôtel. Bon petit déjeuner. Personnel sympathique. Le conseil en plus (le lac de Montriond magnifique)
There are hourly inexpensive door to door buses from Geneva Airport to the hotel in Morzine, Between the various resorts there are free shuttle buses ( just in fornt of the hotel so you can come and go in ski boots ) and between Morzine and Avoriaz there is also a gondola. The hotel is at a quiet part of the village and an easy walk to the Le Pleney lift which takes you to both beginners slopes where lessons are or up to more advanced. the hotel breakfast is a warm meal and excellent. the after ski sauna, indoor /outdoor pool, steam room and pool table all waiting for you. The owners make it a chalet feel with their 2 beautiful dogs to greet you, a bar with local produce light meals. The restaurants are a minute or 2 away and their is an excellent music bar and bakery 3 minutes down a walking trail from the hotel.
We visited this hotel at the end of December and for the new year.|The family room was lovely, the breakfast was good, staff were very friendly and the location was perfect.|As a family of four with a six year old and 1 year old we felt well catered for.|Thank you to everyone at the the hotel.
A smaller boutique with an outstanding breakfast, indoor outdoor pool, sauna and steam room with an easy walk with ski boots on to the ski lift
Very nice, family-run hotel. The woman at reception is very kind and helpful, and the man taking care of the bar is always smiling, good vibes. They have two lovely dogs that will welcome you when you get back from the slopes. If there is enough snow, you can get very close to the hotel skiing. If not, free-shuttle stop is 50m away.
The WORST service I've ever experienced in my life, do not go here. Staff are extremely rude and aggressive particularly the middle aged woman on reception. Cleaner staff stole my phone (didn't take my phone out of my room) and reception when caught out by having find my phone and phone ringing behind reception, pretended to lie that it was found in the 'common area', even though the phone never left the room. The room is not value for money and very basic for what you pay. They will use the excuse of being a "family run" business to provide a substandard service, don't fall for it.
We stayed for 11 nights during August as a family with our 12 year old son. This place is absolutely exceptional. It is quiet and relaxing yet only a few mins walk to town and bus stops. The rooms are spotless and comfortable with beautiful views. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice of breads, fruits, yoghurt, cereals and hot food and great coffee. This is a perfect base for exploring the mountains and towns. The pool is small but lovely. Owners are really friendly and helpful and their beautiful dogs are the icing on the cake!!!
Very friendly place. I can recommend. Rooms are a bit small but still ok. They have a nice pool area for the summer. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We had no AC in the room hence in summer it can get a bit warm.
Beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious, well decorated and bright with some great views of the town and the mountains. Balconies are great for airing out ski clothes in the evening before it gets too cold, and would be nice to sit out if visiting in the summer months. The beds are comfy (essential after a busy day) and the bathrooms are well equipped. The food was incredible. A varied, frequently stocked breakfast greets you in the morning to fill you up for the day, again with a view of the mountains. The evening menu is full of delights as well, available to preview for the week, and very accommodating for allergies (not personal experience, rather a view around the dining room). Hearty, filling, delicious and flavourful cuisine. The waiting staff are lovely and are up for a laugh as well. The rest of the hotel is lovely too; a good sized pool - although a little cold, nice seating are
Stayed here for a week in January. Lovely hotel and staff. We stayed on a half board basis, and must say the food in the evenings were out of this world. Very well presented, and served. Could have been Michelin stared chef in the kitchen for all we know, it was that good. The owners have a lovely dog called ‘Rocket’ used to come and greet you during the day. Used the spa facilities just the once as we came back early from skiing one day. Would definitely stay here again
Très bon moment! Les patrons sont très chaleureux, l’accueil et la literie sont top !
Excellent établissement, les patrons sont géniaux !
We travelled as a family and both rooms were clean with bath and shower. The beds were extremely comfortable with nice views of the mountains and only a few minutes walk from the Pleney lift. The steam room, sauna and pool were lovely to use after a day skiing and the bar areas and restaurant were warm and welcoming. We would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to ski in Morzine and Avoriaz. The four course meal every evening is truly exceptional along with a comprehensive wine list to choose from.
A small family run hotel in a great location, only a 3 minute walk to the main lift and town centre. Room was spotless, 4 course dinner was delicious every evening and the stream room, pool area and boot room were all top spec and very clean. |Two fluffy dogs that welcomed us every morning. |Great bedding and pillows. Balcony overlooking mountains. |Town is cute and very traditional but better snow in higher up Avoriaz.
Visited as a party of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids aged 11-13. Fantastic property, organised, clean, warm and welcoming. Really convenient; just a 5m walk to nearest lifts or can get a bus. |The food is excellent quality and plentiful. The pool and steam/sauna are welcomed. |Highly recommend |(My only feedback to the owners is that they should turn up the egg boiling machine- it was never hot enough and we wasted a lot of eggs!)
Lovely small hotel close to the piste run by friendly family and welcoming staff. Immaculately clean throughout with daily room refresh. We stayed half board and food was wonderful every night. Small heated pool and steam/sauna perfect after skiing.
Lovely cosy Savoyarde hotel. Rooms and beds are very clean and comfortable, bathroom looked recently refurbished and great shower and bath for end of day. Big balcony overlooking the mountains and home run. Buffet breakfast each morning was fresh and plentiful. The hosts and all staff were very friendly and helpful, and we loved being welcomed by Rocket (sweetest dog!). Only used the pool and sauna, steam room once as were busy exploring Morzine village, which is a 3 minute walk away, so you're not 'in the noise'. Great location. Merci beaucoup for a lovely 6 night stay! We would visit again...
I enjoyed our 7-night stay. Cosy rooms with comfortable beds and a decent spa for the size of the hotel, perfect after a ski day. The staff was very helpful and friendly, providing a good service. My favourite thing was by far the dinner, I liked every dish they served, each evening was different. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would like to come back.
Food superb. Staff very friendly and efficient. Beds very comfortable and facilities all well maintained. 1 star deducted for location although a 7 minute walk in snow boots might not be a problem for serious skiers. This hotel is highly recommended.
This is a wonderful hotel with great hospitality from owners and staff. It feels a bit like a bigger chalet vibe where you can relax in your slippers in the lounge. Firstly the beds are really comfortable. Thank you for that! Exactly what we needed after a long day skiing. And then every meal fit for a king. We did not expect that! Again thank you :). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s close to all shops and restaurants. I wish the owners / staff huge success for a long future managing this cute establishment.
This is such a lovely place to stay. The owner and staff are nice and very professional.
This hotel is very welcoming. The owner is so nice and helpful. The pool is great and location is just a few minutes walk from ski lifts
We loved our stay at Le Sporting ! It is a great hotel, comfy rooms and only a short walk to the centre of Morzine / cable car up to Pleney. The food and service was also excellent - good choice for breakfast, fabulous four course meal every evening and fantastic service from Paul ! Thank you for a great stay !
