Great vibe here for a post-ski hang. The service was a bit on the slower side, though it was a busy night, but we were far from the only table experiencing some long waits even for drinks. They were very kind, though, and the food (a burger and fish and chips) were both solid (not excellent, but certainly good enough). By Chamonix standards, the prices were decent, and it worth a visit.

Nothing Canadian about this pub!the service was terrible, our waitress seemed very angry also very rude , our drinks where done and almost 45 minutes went by and no one came to take our food order, the place was empty. I can’t comment on the food we never got served!! 3-4 employees all walking around aimlessly, never going back. Pick any other place but here

This is the perfect spot to have a delicious beer and burger after a long day on the mountain. Hannah gave us such a great welcome that we ended up eating here twice in one week. She even remembered the beers we liked when we came back. You can’t beat that welcome. I particularly loved the nachos, the Smokey burger and the blue cheese burger. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Chamonix

As Canadians visiting Chamonix we sought out this place out of curiosity and really wanted to give a five star, but the food was not on par to pub food at home or restaurant nearby. Good craft beers.

I visit MBC every time I'm in Chamonix and it never disappoints. Advise booking in advance as it's always full in the winter.

When your whole world changes in a blink of an eye…. we found unparalleled kindness in an unexpected place. My late partner loved the MBC and when we returned to spend the season in Chamonix for the sixth time, a visit for his absolute favourite - the Nachos - was high on the list. Sadly it wasn’t to be, but when I visited in the depths of despair, to ask if we could have drinks and maybe some snacks following his funeral, Thomas the manager, made it happen. This bar is special, the people are special. We were looked after with care and tenderness, the food and drink was as usual on point and Robin would have loved it. I will always be grateful especially to Thomas for these relaxed few hours where we were so comfortable, enjoying Robin’s past exploits on the big screen. Thank you so much for caring.

The poutine!! Excellent. I couldn’t book a table at the time we wanted however we really wanted to go and luckily they had a table for us. Big groups were there, quite loud but burgers and beers were amazing so all worth it.

Dear MBC Chamonix, stop taking all my money each year when I come to race at UTMB ;-) Yes, that is how good this place is: perfect beers brewed on-site and the burgers fill an athlete that has just run 100 miles over the Alps

This was one of the most unacceptable and offensive experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The waitress with a hat displayed constant hostility, eye-rolling, audible sighs, and a completely disrespectful attitude. Her behavior suggested a clear form of racial bias, which is absolutely intolerable. No customer deserves to be treated with such disdain. A place that allows this level of disrespect should be avoided at all costs.

Esta fue una de las experiencias más inaceptables y ofensivas que he tenido en un restaurante. La camarera con sombrero mostró una hostilidad constante, poniendo los ojos en blanco, suspiros audibles y una actitud completamente irrespetuosa. Su comportamiento sugería una clara forma de prejuicio racial, lo cual es absolutamente intolerable. Ningún cliente merece ser tratado con tanto desdén. Been going sporadically for years. Used to be great food. Think I’m being kind giving in 2 stars to be honest especially considering the price. Big group and everyone was disappointed. Hopefully it was a 1 off

This place has a great atmosphere, the kind you can't create on purpose or duplicate. It attracts locals and tourists alike. We have a great time every time we go there. The food is great, and the staff is excellent.

La bière est bonne, bien supérieure a l'accueil et surtout au service. Malheureusement je ne parle pas l'anglais (en tout cas pas en France lol) et c'est un défaut dans cet établissement, le personnel m'atant servi ne maitrisant pas la langue de Moliere. . 30 mn pour recevoir l'addition et 30 mn pour le rendu monnaie. Une perte de temps... mais la bière est bonne ! ;)

Great beer and great atmosphere, not a bad walk from city center

Sat at the bar and had to wait a little since it was really busy, but the bartender was super nice (and cute 😊) and made the wait worth it. Tried the Blue Bird Blond and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is lively and fun, though it can get a bit crowded with people pushing past when it’s packed. Ended up chatting with another solo guest at the bar which added to the experience. The burger was really good too, nicely presented. Overall, I’d definitely come back for the drinks, the food, and the great vibes!

Good Canadian bar. We arrived really late and walked in without reservation on a Saturday night. The host was a very friendly Canadian and accommodated us. Bar food, nothing exceptional.. Fun place to visit when in Chamonix

Malheureusement déçu cette fois ci… Venant assez souvent sur Cham et à la MBC. Nous venons à 3 à 20h30. cela commence par sur le faite que l’on commande à mojito qui a été valider par le serveur mais reviens sur sa décision sur le faite qu’il y’a plus de menthe, donc nous propose de mettre sur sirop de menthe…donc non merci on se rabat sur 3 sodas. Ce soir la MBC était plutôt calme. Nous avons beaucoup attendu notre nachos à partager à partager puis nos plats(2 burgers cuisson saignante et 1 salade cesar+ 1bol de crisis cuts) Les personnes qui sont avec moi, n’ont pas du tout fini leur plat car ils avaient plus faim. Du coup je demande au serveur d’avoir 1 doggy bag pour y mettre le burger restant et les crisis cuts ainsi que la salade césar. Malheureusement pour nous encore une fois ils avaient plus de doggy bag et aucune solution à m’apporter sachant étant restaurateur moi même, ils

Excellente expérience à la MBC ! Accueil et service au top, rapide et très aimable. Ambiance dépaysante assez typiquement canadienne. Côté boisson : bières artisanales très chouettes avec une mention spéciale à la "Mont Blanche", à tester quand il fait bien chaud. Côté repas, ne manquez pas l'un de leurs burgers, pris cette fois dans une version veggie (ils sont tous convertibles à la carte) : l'incontournable Toronto Blue... Je peux vous dire qu'à la MBC, on ne se moque pas des végétariens. Pour l'accompagnement, préférez les criss cuts aux frites, ça vaut le détour. Je recommande chaudement cette adresse qui mérite vraiment que l'on s'éloigne de l'hyper-centre de Chamonix, vous en aurez pour votre argent.

Whilst touring europe on our motorcycles, we had a day in Chaminox and had been advised by family members who'd previously been here to visit the micro brewery. Plenty choice of good beers and food, we had chicken wings, which were lovely, and the brewery had a great lively and friendly atmosphere.

Very nice place, well worth a visit. Several nationalities among the guests and a good atmosphere. Several screens in the room which was a good fit when Le Blues was playing an Spain. We ordered Ribs, which were tasty and came in a generous portion. The Blanc beer was fruity and the Pale Ale was perfect with the Ribs. Very nice staff who communicated very well in English.

Bière diluée, attente sans fin et en plus il manquait les cornichons dans le burger (burger Pickels) … les tarifs sont excessifs, c’était mieux avant … (en 2010 par exemple)

Nous habitons chamonix et aimons bien aller manger un délicieux burger parfois. D'habitude nous allons aux houches à Kitsch Inn , ou Big Mountain brew qui servent vraiment de la qualité. Tout est maison et beaucoup moins chère que MBC. 70 euros pour 1 couple et 1 enfant. ( 3 burger frites, 1 petite eau gazeuse et 1 petite bière.... ) j'ai laissé la moitié de mon steak immangeable et dur... Le MBC est loin de la qualité de l'époque, autant dans le service que ds la nourriture... super super déçue et honteux du prix.

Bar micro-brasserie très sympa à l'ambiance nord-américaine. La bière faite sur place et plutôt bonne, la nourriture un peu moins mais c'est toujours agréable de picorer quelques choses entre deux pintes.

Plusieurs fois à passer devant sans jamais s’y arrêter ( période estivale notamment ). Nous nous y rendons ce soir. Accueil plutôt sympathique même si nous sommes restés quelques minutes face à deux personnes ne parlant qu’entre elles. Bières commandées, elles sont excellentes. Du coup nous poursuivons la découverte avec deux burgers. Les burgers RAS par contre l’accompagnement des frites ( probablement industrielles et surgelées ) est décevant en quantité. Et puis arrive le moment de la note : plutôt bon en calcul mental, on sent qu’il y a un problème : +10€. En réalité cela correspond à la garniture qui n’était pas comprise dans le prix du burger affiché sur la carte ( 17€ ). Le tout passe donc à 22€ par personne. Je crois que c’est la première fois que l’accompagnement ( hors supplément ou quantité supplémentaire) est en plus. Nous n’avons pas souhaité jouer les clients « chiants » et

Lieu a priori sympa, les bières sont locales, les serveurs sympathiques. Attention cependant à la facture! Les burgers sont affichés à 17€ sur le menu avec “accompagnement frites possible” mais sont facturés 22€ au final, car les frites ne sont pas inclues dans le plat… Frites qui n ont d’ailleurs rien d exceptionnel, des frites Métro surgelées… Pour 5€ j attends a minima des frites maison et une quantité un peu plus importante que 10 frites ds l’assiette… Dommage, jusqu’au passage en caisse je pensais revenir une prochaine fois, mais la malhonnêteté et le manque de transparence est inacceptable.

Typical brewpub experience in a non typicall setting. Well worth the extra 5 min walk from downtown chamonix, the food and beer was fantastic. Going back again tomorrow!

Just coming back from Canada this was an excellent experience in North American food!!!! Great spare ribs (no need of a knife as the meat came off the bones by itself!!!) and probably the best (warm) brownie with ice-cream I‘ve ever had!!! 10points also for the friendly staff!!!

I got a burger which has no taste at all, with half baked fries and several days old coleslaw, the cabbage was gray from oxidation. The whole dish was not edible. It was a terrible dissapointment. When the waiter took away the barly touched food, she wasnt even asked, if there were any problem with the food. They have a good selection of beer.

After long day in the winter mountains, this a was a great spot to warm up our empty stomachs! We ordered a pitcher of IPA, with a starter and 2 massive burgers towards having a chocolate brownie dessert! All divine!! While watching the football in what felt like Canada, it was a great place to be on a Saturday night!

And we are back, a year later—great food with some stout eclipse.

I got a sampler and it was a great suggestion from the brewmaster. My favourite has got to be their Hibiscus. I have never drank something with kind of flower before and it was a nice complement to the taste of beer

WOW! Endlich mal eine Craftbeer Brauerei in Frankreich die nicht nur die üblichen Standard Biere anbietet. Das IPA ist hervorragend. Der Burger war perfekt. Für mich das Highlight von Chamonix.

Awful food. Had beer, burger and poutine. Burger was very overcooked & tasteless. Bun was stale. Poutine was the worst. Fries were mediocre and swimming in gravy and melted cheese. It was inedible….and we usually find a way to choke a bad meal down for $40, but just couldn’t go it this time around.

Not a single main vegan option on the menu. All the burger buns were coated in egg so even with three veggie patty, you still couldn’t have the full burger. The veggie patty didn’t even taste good. €17 for veggie mush and vegetables with no bread bun is outrageous! The only reason I gave a 2 rating was because the onion rings were actually very nice! But much needed vegan options! It’s 2024!!! Go to Poco Loco instead!

Déçu... Je me réjouissais à l'idée du burger que j'allais déguster je fus finalement assez déçu. Un burger demandé saignant mais qui arrive bien cuit et dans lequel je n'ai pas du tout senti le gorgonzola (Toronto Blue) Les frites étaient sans intérêt et pas assez cuites (dignes de la cantine du boulot). Bref trop dommage car l'ambiance et les bières sont bonnes.

Une ambiance sympa avec une bonne playlist mais un service bancal. Une heure d'attente pour nos burgers sans un mot des serveurs pour nous prévenir. Nous avons dû venir sur un mauvais jour pour la cuisine mais cela ne change pas le supplément frites à 5 euros pour avoir des frites industrielles.

Very bad experience here. The waiter served us the wrong dish, but as foreign travellers we seldom eat western food in our daily life , and he didn’t tell us what the dish was when passing the dish to us, so we can’t tell the difference between the two. Then the waitress came over and asked us to pay for extra because we eat the wrong dish which is 2 € more expensive than the one we ordered. So we agreed that we pay for extra 2 € for the dish and they can cancelled the one we already ordered. However, they insist that we can’t cancel the dish and must keep it and also need to pay extra 29 € for the wrong dish that the severed. It is ridiculous that they blame all the faults to customers and want customers to pay for their mistake. If you are travellers to Chamonix, I truly don’t recommend you to this racis and rude restaurant. By the way, food is just so so, no need to come by if have

Great atmosphere! All the employees were super friendly, the decor was great. The decor of this place is also perfect for a microbrewery. Overall very worth it to walk just a tiny bit outside the main village for good beer and food

Doesn’t matter if you are a climber, tourist or a family anjoying Chamonix, this place is a must-visit!! We were so thrilled the first time, we had to come second time to taste more of their fabulous kitchen and drinks. The BBQ ribs are heaven-made and beer completes the 5star experience 😇 Ee also experienced a football match FR-BEL (FR won) which made the atmosphere even more hypnotizing. Worth every penny, please don’t change anything 👑

L'ambiance est présente, la bière est super fraîche et excellente. Malheureusement la nourriture prime un peut ... Burger cramé, truffe inexistante.. c'est dommage

Worst experience ever and the restaurant is racist. One waitress rudely pushed me away when we followed another waiter to our seats. Waited for 15 mins and no one gave us menu or water after sitting down while the white couple next to us got service immediately. The ribs tasted terrible and worse than those you got from Costco. Chicken wings made Buffalo Wild Wings like Michelin food.

Highly recommended, this brewery serves some excellent beers and a great variety of burgers, all which can be made vegan/veggie. They also broadcast all the popular sport events.

Lovely nachos and chicken burgers. Nice pint too. Gets busy. Managed to fit two of us in, but recommended to book.

Came for the Pivot, Left wanting the Poutine. Amazing place and my favourite bar in Cham! As a disruptive loud Brit I felt welcomed and all the staff were super friendly! Me and my partner went there basically every night of our stay and we’re pleasantly surprised every visit.

Amazing place, first pub we visited in Chamonix and we couldn't get it more right! Great selection of tap beers, featuring the IPA. Service is pretty good too.

You haven’t been to Chamonix until you’ve been to MBC. I literally drank one of every beer and each was so delicious that it brought me to tears. Tons of locals tons of visitors. Old people young people. Not people (dogs). Everyone having an awesome time. Best place for a burger in Chamonix. Was easily one of the best burgers of my life. Fall off the bone ribs. Very accommodating staff, the place was packed (even on a weekday) but we didn’t wait at all for a table. Very very nice to English speakers (sorry I don’t speak French!!!!) warm and welcoming. This place is truly THEE Chamonix Watering Hole. Thank you MBC!!!!!

We arrived in Chamonix, hit the trails, and needed a decent sized meal. Saw that there was an eating place with a brewery attached and thought that will do! A short distance out of town, easily walkable. Walked in, and thought this is fabulous, great music, great vibe with the added bonus of the brewing equipment behind the bar looking authentic, which the bar staff assured me they are! My French language skills are not great, but this was not a problem. Tried three different beers, which were great. The food was great with the added bonus that each burger style was offered with a chicken/beef/vegetarian option. Portion sizes were generous even after four hours on the trail. Pricing seemed fair. Definitely going back tonight 🤪

Good beers, reasonably priced. Outside of the main city center so a better value. We did not eat there but the food looked good.

This place was great. Worth the short walk. The food was delicious. Had a veggi burger and a chicken burger. Service was extraordinary. They can handle a crowd.

Forget all the busy streets in Chamonix. Go here, but not all at once!! It’s a great place, with great and friendly service. And amazing food. We’re coming back, no doubt! By the way, they know how to brew a good beer; and this is coming from an expert Belgian beer-drinker.

Great food, delicious unique homebrew beers, friendly staff and a great atmosphere! We had vegetation burgers which were very good, the spicy burger was also legitimately spicy, and they also do great salads.
