Bon sashimi, nigiri et sake (bibibi). Dorayaki à éviter, pas réalisés avec un pancake fourré (mais deux tranches) et garni d’une maigre et trop sèche pâte de haricots rouges. Salle trop bruyante lorsqu’elle est pleine.

Amazing experience and waitress was so kind! Sushi / steak was delicious. Atmosphere was awesome too (especially when you have a big group and sit downstairs)

The waiters couldn't understand English……There were many extra charges for no reason. We asked for three empty bows but got three eggs instead, thinking they were free. In the end, they wanted to charge us for them…. Then we explained a lot for their misunderstanding of our request, but it was no useful…..👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

영국에 살았을때 갔으면 맛있었을 것 같은데 한국에서 왔더니 전반적으로 짰어요. 돈까스 소스도 짜고 그냥 음식도 그냥그랬어요

따뜻한 우동이 생각나서 들렀어요 새우튀김우동을 먹었구요 맛이 없지는 않지만 에비텐 한그릇에 현재환율로 약 3만원입니다. 한국생생우동 정도맛인데 조금 짜지만 먹을만해요..

This is a great place for sushi and Japanese food. It can get quite busy during the high season, but you also have the option to order takeaway, which is what we did. The food was fresh and tasty, and we really enjoyed it.

So disappointing. Hard to get in to and busy…can’t tell you why. We had the pork tonkatsu - sauce was poor and meat was gristley - but the eel donburi was just unacceptably bad. They can’t even do sushi rice properly. Anywhere but here. Please

21h00 - Fin Août 2025 Le restaurant nous accueille après 45 minutes d'attente. Nous avons retrouvé une diversité intéressante dans les menus et plats à la carte qui nous a permis des choix originaux. Les plats et boissons sont dignes d'un restaurant japonais. Qualité top, produits frais, et un bon goût sucré dans le vin de spécialité nipponne. Même les toilettes rappellent le pays avec des livres sur les couteaux japonais. Pensez à réserver pendant les heures de pointe, et notamment pour le menu Sukiyaki (à commander la veille pour déguster sur place) que j'aurai pris à la place du menu Satsuki.

Rare to find a mass market sushi place run by Japanese instead of Chinese. But I am not impressed by the food. The sashimi on the nigiri were all very very thin, rice at the bottom were just ok. Not wrong not bad, but far from authentic and good. I guess i had expected much more looking at the reviews.

Our to-go sushi restaurant in chamonix, there are really no japanese ran restaurants other than this one as far as I know. The sushi rice is good, although don't expect fresh sashimi, they only have tuna and salmon. Their cooked dishes were good too, like their yakitoki, beignets de poissons.

My son and I visited Chamonix in March as part of a European ski trip. The dinner at Santuki was so incredible that I decided to take my wife and daughter to Chamonix along with my son and experience the sushi at Santuki. Tonight my wife and daughter tried their sushi and agreed that it was the best sushi they had ever tasted in their lives. Dinner at Santuki is a must if you ever visit Chamonix! -Aaron C. from Ohio

We visited Satsuki while in Chamonix. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The only exception was the shrimp tempura, which I didn’t enjoy—though I’m usually a big fan of shrimp. Other than that, everything was very good, and the prices are reasonable too!

Absolutely amazing. Delicious, flavourful and authentic Japanese food, kind, friendly and helpful staff and just 1-2mins walk from the very city centre. This place will never disappoint you. Reservation required!

Manque d'information pour, réserver une table sur leur site et impossible via google, dommage, nous nous sommes présenter à 19h soit 30mm après l'ouverture, pas de place disponible pour 3 personnes, prévoyez car risque de déception, ils pourraient au moins indiquer le système de réservation par téléphone, au lieu du non booking via mail sur le site.

As a Hongkonger who like Japanese cuisine, I would say it’s excellent Japanese restaurant. The sashimi is great and fresh, and the side dishes are authentic.

Putting most important things at the first: 1 - Mondays off 2 - Reservation (by phone) recommended 3 - If you would like to try their sukiyaki (hotpot), please reserve one day in advance, and min 2 ppl per order for sukiyaki - I did come for their sukiyaki but in vain. But from how tasty their other meals are and from other customers' reactions, you could have no doubt about their sukiyaki. My friend and I ordered Set (me for Wakamesu + Sushi, and my friend went for seaweed+sashimi (come with a bowl of rice). I additonally had Udon. Every single one of them was AMAZING! I travel to Japan very often (6-10 times per year) and I can tell how authentic they are. The sake and beer are imported from Japan and of course quality is guaranteed.

Expérience très décevante. Nous sommes venus suite à des recommandations mais quelle déception. Le sukiyaki, d’une somme de 99 euros (33e/personne), était composé d une pauvre assiettes de légume composé de poireau, de carotte, de chou chinois et de quelques tranches de bœuf. (Photo joint) pour 100 euros c’est juste abusif. Pour l’addition impossible de régler séparément le sukiyaki, fallait qu’une personne règle la totalité, du jamais vu également. Garder vos sous pour d’autres resto du coin y’en a sûrement des meilleurs pour des prix beaucoup plus raisonnables.

Great spot. My udon was great 👏🏻 they take reservations, but we were walk-ins that were able to get sat pretty quick based on timing. My sister had the spicy tuna and enjoyed it. And they had onigiri, which can be difficult to find in a Japanese restaurant outside of Japan!

Best Japanese restaurant in Chamonix! Don't waste your stomach at a different Japanese restaurant in Chamonix, Satsuki has a variety of menu - sushi, donburi, udon and more. I unfortunately forgot to take photos but here's a cute table mat they had!

Good reasonable price, nice staff / service. I got the pan fried dumplings which were a little under fried. The shrimp udon needs improvement. The shrimp tempura becomes soggy immediately as they're served in the broth. I'd recommend serving the shrimp on the side for dipping.

Les meilleurs sushis de Chamonix. Nous avons découvert le restaurant il y’a déjà un petit moment et nous sommes toujours aussi ravis ! L’équipe est aux petits soins et les plats sont d’une grande finesse. Les soupes Miso Udon sont excellentes. Mention spéciale pour les sashimis qui sont d’une grande qualité. Une de nos adresses préférées à Chamonix. Ils n’ont rien à envier à des grandes adresses parisiennes.

Mon mari et mon ami ont mangé des tempuras de légumes et ont eu une intoxication alimentaire. Mon ami a eu la diarrhée et des vomissements le lendemain et a dû rester un jour de plus à Chamonix (nous devions partir le lendemain). Mon mari a eu la diarrhée et de la fièvre un jour après à Genève. Après avoir passé en revue tout ce que nous avons mangé, la seule chose qu’ils ont mangée ensemble sans moi ni nos autres amis était la tempura de légumes. Tout le reste que nous avons mangé a été partagé et aucune des autres personnes de notre groupe n’est tombée malade. Je ne recommanderais jamais à personne d’y aller. I visited Satsuki around 7 PM and encountered a disappointing dining experience. Upon arrival, we were informed by a staff member that the only available seating was downstairs, even though we noticed several empty tables upstairs. When seated downstairs, I observed that most of the diners in this section appeared to share similar ethnic backgrounds, which raised concerns about how seating arrangements were being managed. This observation left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. As a customer, I expect fair and respectful treatment at any establishment. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations, which was disappointing. For those looking for a more inclusive and welcoming dining environment, I would recommend exploring other options.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this restaurant. A male staff member with a tattoo under his left eye was particularly rude. It was very apparent that all East Asian customers, including us, were directed to sit in the basement, which felt discriminatory. What made matters worse was how he gestured for us to remove our shoes in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, even though we hadn’t stepped in with our shoes on. His annoyed facial expression and disrespectful attitude were unacceptable. We felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we decided to leave. We had our first night dinner in chamonix here. The restaurant is minutes away from the center. small and cozy with outdoor tables available. we had miso soup, california sushi, chicken skewers and grilled beef. All were delicious and tasty. the staff was friendly and welcoming, they managed to let us in without a reservation even though it was busy in the restaurant 🙏🏻

Very authentic but reasonable Japanese restaurant. Don't waste your money somewhere else to have awful food but visit Satsuki. You won't be disappointed. Lunch set menu is wonderful. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had been traveling in Europe for 3 weeks and were craving some Japanese food so gave Satsuki a go and was not disappointed! The food was so good and traditional in a good way! Definitely a hidden gem in Chamonix. A lot of people were ordering take out which is always a good sign. We will definitely be coming back when we make another trip to Chamonix.

J'y ai mangé trois fois et je n'ai jamais été déçue. Les sushis comme les plats chauds, tout est délicieux. Le poisson est frais et de très bonne qualité. En plus de bien manger, on est chaleureusement accueilli et le lieux est très mignon ! Je le recommande les yeux fermés ! 😁

Had a lovely meal here in the inter-season. The food was very fresh and tasty, we loved the sashimi and sushi as well as the chicken and rice. Would definitely recommend a visit! We were lucky to score a table walking in, however I would recommend booking just to be sure you’ll be seated. Service was very friendly and prompt too.

Petite salle très lumineuse, ou au premier abord on peut être surpris par la deco du restaurant ( je m attendais a une salle plus grande), nous avons pris un menu entrée + plat. Service fort sympathique, et rapide, qualité des plats indiscutable ( nous avons pris le boeuf amyaki ( qui existe en 2 versions( sauce teryaki ou sauce pimentée et douce dont je ne me rappelle pas le nom)), je vous avouerais avoir vu d autres plats passer devant moi et c'est avec regret que je n' ai pu les goûter... A refaire avec un grand plaisir !!!

Excellente cuisine Japonaise et acceuil exceptionnel. Les sushis sont exquis. Et tout le reste aussi en fait ! A chaque fois que je viens à Chamonix, je viens plusieurs fois au Satsuki, c'est pour moi un des meilleurs (sinon LE) restaurants de la ville.

유튜브에 젊은 여성분들이 만든 Vlog보고 맛잇다 하여 찾아왔는데 너무 실망함. 솔직히 한국 어느 길거리의 돈까스 집, 사보텐의 반의 반도 안되는 맛. 지하철에서 파는 회전초밥집이 백배 낫다. 뎀뿌라 맛잇다길래 주문하니 정말 너무 별로. 우동도 별로. 스시도 별로. 샤모니에 한식집이 없어 어쩔 수 없이 참고 먹으려면 추천. 아니라면... 이 정도 식당으로 예약 안하면 못 먹는 식당이 된다는게 참.. 한국 자영업자들이 이런 곳에서 식당하시면 참 좋겠다. 식당은 매우 좁고 덥다.

J'ai pris beignets de poissons...sauf que je trouve 3 beignets de légumes qui remplacent 3 beignets de poissons sans que ce soit indiqué sur leur carte . Les parts ce sont considérablement réduites. Moins de tofu dans la soupe miso. Moins de riz moins de poisson..... Pour le même prix. Dommage. J'y allais régulièrement. Je ne pense pas y retourner .... ca sent quand même un peu l'arnaque .

Sympathique petit restaurant. La cuisine est très bonne, il y a de nombreuses suggestions pour le lunch servies avec un thé et une soupe délicieuse. Grand choix de plats sur la carte. Tout est excellent, ai rarement mangé des yakitori de poulet si tendres. Le service est efficace et le personnel très aimable. Prix corrects. N’oubliez pas de réserver!

Excellent food n service as usual

Loved this place! They had a vegan maki and were able to do a vegan noodles. Lovely broth. Great chewy udon noodles. Tasty fresh sushi. Lovely staff! We sat downstairs which was a really nice atmosphere. Would recommend (we are from London)

Such an underrated restaurant!! We liked it so much that we have gone for dinner 3 days in a row to try everything! The servers are super friendly, the food is amazing and very surprising given it’s high up in the mountains. To begin with, the salmon, super fresh, exquisite! All nigiris, are awesome, salmon sashimi incredible. Skip the Tuna (it’s great too, but Salmon is incredible). Onigiri, go with the Bonito, it’s GREAT! Noodle Soups, - ALL OF THEM are amazing! Sushi - preferred the Salmon as well PIECE OF ADVISE!!! Book in advance, and if 2 people or more, think about the HOT POT is amazing but it requires one day of heads up!! Thank me later! French, Japanese, and English is spoken here.

Tout parfait , établissement très propre et personnel aux petits soins patient et vraiment sympas , étant adepte de la nourriture asiatique et fin gourmet , je peux vous dire qu’il s’agit du restaurant japonais le plus authentique de France un vrai voyage au Japon sans parler de la qualité des produits qui est excellente . Authentic Japanese food in Chamonix! A must go every time I come here! Waiters are super friendly and the food is Amazing! Better book seats if in busy season.

The real deal. Run by Japanese, and food is absolutely to the standard of what you'd find in Japan. Udon broth just the right balance, tempura batter light and fluffy, daifuku seems smooth, home made and not too sweet. Also very fairly priced. Will drive here from Geneva again for this food.

Very nice services, and foods Waitresses are Japanese who are very polite and nice. The weakness is the foods volume just little bit small.

Nice authentic Japanese food. Fresh sashimi was delicious. Staff are also very friendly and attentive despite it being busy. Highly recommend making a reservation as they do get quite booked out.

Parfait.

Sukiyaki needs pre-reservation but when I book through the phone call, they didn't ask me to confirm whether we need it. You know, for tourist, we wouldn't know that sukiyaki have to be pre-booked. So it is very upset to us.

롤과 우동을 시켰는데 맛은 평범하였으나 직원분이 매우 친절하시고 매장이 깔끔합니다. 한국인인걸 알아보시고 한국말로 인사도 해주시네요.

일본식 음식을 파는 그냥그런 식당이네요. 돈까스는 일본에서 먹는것과 차이가 많습니다. 제대로 튀긴건지 의문시 됩니다. 소스도 평범, 겨자는 없어요. 퐁듀나 스위스 음식을 먹는게 더 나을거 같네요. 예약안하면 자리 없으니 워크인으로 방문할 생각하시면 인됩니다. 일본맥주는 시키지 마세요. 오래되어 상태가 안좋습니다. 재고 순환이 안되는거 같네요. 우동은 제가 안먹어서 평가를 못하겠고 먹고싶었던 돈까스 맘에 안들어 평점이 보통입니다.

추천 받아 갔지만 정말로 실망스러운 음식점입니다. 첫째, 빈테이블이 많았지만 예약석이라며 자리를 주지 않아 테이크 아웃을 할 수 밖에 없었습니다. 그나마도 30분이나 기다려 음식을 받았습니다. 기다리는 동안에도 테이블은 비어있었으므로 예약석이라는 것을 믿을 수 없었습니다. 둘째, 음식 포장 상태가 엉망이었습니다. 비스듬히 넣어주는 바람에 3개의 우동 중 1개는 국물이 거의 없는 상태였습니다. 셋째, 음식의 질이 가격 대비 너무 떨어집니다. 우동 국수 가락과 국물, 건더기 몇개뿐인 이 음식에 12-15유로를 지불할 가치가 있는지 의문이었습니다. 프랑스 12일간의 여행 중 최악의 음식점이며 절대 추천하지 않습니다.

전반적인 인테리어는 일본풍이며 깔끔해요 화장실도 깨끗하고 비데가 설치되어있어 역시 일본스럽다는 느낌과 깔끔하고 친절합니다. 음식은 전반적으로 퀄리티가 떨어집니다. 우동이나 초밥등 일행들이 다 남길정도로 평가가 좋지않아요. 서양인들 입맛에 맞추거나 변형되어서 그런지는 알수 없지만 동양인입장에선 일본에서 먹던 또는 한국에서 먹던 것과는 차원이 다릅니다.

Such delicious Japanese food in Chamonix. When making a reservation, I highly recommend pre-ordering the Sukiyaki (hot pot), which you’ll need to do at least a day in advance. The salmon sashimi was also excellent and fresh. Lovely staff at this little Japanese restaurant.

현지에 거주하는 제 입맛에는 완전 맛있는 건 아니고 맛 없지 않은 정도. 외국음식에 지친 경우라면 당연 맛있게 느껴지겠죠. 돈가스는 목살이라 말랑하고 가름기가 많아서 아쉬움. 안심이나 등심이 훨씬 낫지 않을까요.

샤모니 맛집으로 익히 알려진 일식집. 예약해야한다고 하지만, 지나가면서 들렸는데 마침 자리가 나서 가게 되었다. 일본인이 직접 운영하는 곳으로 한인들도 많이 방문해서인지 한국말로도 밝게 인사해주신다. 한식을 먹고 싶을때, 대체음식으로 일식을 택했는데 탁월한 선택이었다. 런치메뉴로 테리야끼 및 스시/롤을 주문했는데, 익히 먹어왔던 맛있는 맛! 미소국, 쌀밥과 함께 먹으니 프랑스 음식에 살짝 물려있던 입맛을 다시 돋구게 만들었다. 샤모니에 간다면 마지막날 추천

Cute restaurant in the middle of all the Chamonix shops. Make sure to call to make a reservation - limited fish selection but tasted fresh!

Fantastic Sashimi

It was recommended by a friend, but the overall experience was underwhelming. The fish was good, but the overall selection was very limited. There are lots of sushi options in Chamonix that I would try next time.

Nice small restaurant, decent prices, fabulous fresh food with the full range of Japanese food choices. No ramen but there is udon. Very friendly and welcoming.
