Had a great meal here, the chef has put together some excellent dishes and executed them superbly. The prawns pil pil and the Korean chicken wings were really well flavoured. The beef and Guinness pie was a hearty meal. Wish I’d had room for a dessert.

j’adoreee le food le personnel tout !! on a pris des chicken wings buffalo qui étaient un peu salées et sèches (dommage), par contre les moules frites étaient trop bonnes, et le poulet rôti délicieux aussi (le curry patate douce était top)

Nous avons dîner avec un couple d'amis dans ce restaurant et quelle surprise ! Une cuisine qui satisfera 99% des convives avec des produits frais et un large choix au menu ! C'est un plaisir de trouver un restaurant avec ce rapport qualité / prix à Chamonix !

Sehr tolles Restaurant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Der Service war wirklich hervorragend – man hatte nie das Gefühl, einfach nur ein Gast bzw. eine Nummer zu sein. Es wurde regelmäßig zwischen den Gängen gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist, und das obwohl bei unserem Besuch alles reserviert war. Wir saßen auf Barhockern nahe der Bar und konnten direkt in die offene Küche schauen – das war wirklich ein Highlight und hat eine sehr coole Atmosphäre geschaffen. Als Vorspeise hatten wir die Sticky Korean Chicken Wings, danach Fish’n’Chips und Mussels & Chips. Alles war super lecker und die Portionen waren großzügig. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe gekocht wird. Die Atmosphäre ist locker und modern, perfekt für einen entspannten Abend mit Freunden oder als Paar. Für uns definitiv eine klare Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! 🤗✌🏽

Amazing food and absolutely worth it. Like most good places in Chamonix, you’ll need a reservation — it gets busy for a reason. We ordered starters and steak for dinner, and everything was excellent. The quality, flavor, and presentation did not disappoint. The restaurant was full, and we noticed that guests who came earlier seemed to wait longer for their meals. Our 8pm reservation turned out to be the perfect time — the service felt smooth and we avoided the earlier kitchen rush. Would definitely come back!

Excellent restaurant hidden away not far from the tourist walking area. Well worth your effort to find. Just 4 minutes walk from Chamonix Sud bus stop. Service was excellent willing to suggest some dishes. Pet peeve of mine when servers tell you “everything is good!” and really suggest nothing. We chose the buffalo wings (very tasty), calamari (nice and crunchy), Beef and Guinness pie (very hearty) and the Pan Fried Sea Bass ( delicious and well seasoned). They have plenty of beers on tap. Dessert was the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream on top - excellent! Atmosphere was festive and comfortable. Lots of young people, families and quite a diverse crowd. Overall an excellent find and well worth searching for. Do yourself a favour and spend an evening here!

Best food we tasted the full week as well as the tastiest pints served in the whole town and resorts. Muscles, steaks and chicken wings all cooked to perfection. Staff couldn’t be nicer and the front bar have pints of Asahi that were top tier. Completely justified rating and reviews 🔥

Oh wow. I got some Beef Pot Pie 🥧 that they call Torte au Bouef here. It was really good. I ate the whole thing and was tempted to lick the plate. The mashed potatoes were good too. Needed a reservation to get a table here. Our waitress was highly skilled and a friendly person. I recommend for sure 👍

Wonderful hidden gem of a restaurant! I only wish we’d discovered this place sooner. Small but perfectly curated menu with something for everyone, fantastic value for money, wonderful warm welcome with charming and attentive staff, lovely ambiance with low lighting and not too much background noise, just absolutely 10/10 experience. Really recommend the moules frites, they could compete with the finest Parisian restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

You truly feel at home at Synge. The service was impeccable. Loved the lighting and ambiance. we started with the tomato basil soup and then I had to do the Guiness pie, which was just beyond incredible. Blanche beer to wash it all down and a white Ukrainian (not Russian).

What a fantastic restaurant!!! The food was only outdone by the great serving staff. Keira, Suzy and Louis were simply the best. Both of our dinners were delicious. It is very obvious that the chefs really care. Their attention to detail and flavours was outstanding. The prices are so very reasonable. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. It was a Tuesday in late January and they had a full house with what appeared to be locals. I highly recommend Synge&Co. It is one of those places that just feels instantly like home.

Went with my fiancé, they managed to find us a table without a reservation. The staff were amazing, couldnt ask for better service and the fooooood!!! So good, compliments to the chef and the menu. We had a lovely experience in Synge & Co last night. A very friendly welcome from the staff and the food was delicious!! Family of 7 adults who enjoyed the wine, beer & cocktails too. 🤩 A 10 minute walk from the midi train station, well worth a visit if you are in Chamonix. Lovely wee Irish bar next door called Beckitts. Thanks so much to the staff & chefs!!

We spent a week in Chamonix and went to this restaurant on our first and last evening. The staff is super nice and friendly and the food - can’t even begin how great it is. I likely had the best moules frites in my life - the sauce and moules were amazing! I recommend everyone to go there - almost a hidden restaurant ! Chefs are great and very skilled , see for yourself! Thanks to the entire team for these two unforgettable dinners!

Stumbled upon this gem on a very rainy night. Honestly, I was surprised. The roast chicken breast was delicious. The dauphinoise potatoes were beautiful.

This is my 5th time in Chamonix and this is hands down the best restaurant I've found. The food was perfect, prawns & ribeye steak. The waitress was courteous, attentive and bi-lingual (English & French).

I've been coming to Chamonix for 10 years now and I've eaten in lots of different restaurants and I have to say this is the best meal I've had here..... I had the calamari, steak and orange cheesecake and every dish was served to perfection. The staff were great.... Good music and a great atmosphere...... My only criticism is it's not open tomorrow.... 🤣 but I'll be back on Wednesday 😋....

Wow is all I can say! I had a burger and wife had the seabass. The burger had to be easily one of the best burgers in my life. Even the fries were exceptional. Service first class. The Kilkenny was on tap was delicious. A little noisy on the main floor but upstairs was great. They’re a relatively new resto but all their great reviews are honest and well deserved. Go now before they will eventually get line ups and the price point goes up to match nearby.

We had sea bass, the flavour was perfectly blended and balanced! So delicious! We also ordered desserts- brownie and cheese cake, they were freshly made and the taste was phenomenal! Happy to revisit!

Three of us dropped in after coming back to Chamonix after the TMB. Both the staff and food was faultless, attentive staff and great food. We couldn't have asked for a better meal to wrap up our trip and wouldn't hesitate on recommending this for anyone in the area.

We went there for drinks and it didn't disappoint! I got the negroni and my partner requested a drink "boulevardier" not on the menu. But the bartender (or the staff member, owner?) was kind enough and made one for us! Both of them were perfect and well balanced! It has a cute vibe and decor.

Venimos a pasar un rato a chamonix y decidimos quedarnos para cenar, buscamos en internet y hemos visto las avis de Google y tal cual no defrauda! el sabor de los platos son deliciosos y muy originales. Soy chef de cocina y note inmediato el frescor de sus productos. Una delicia los mejillones ( vengo de españa) y tenia mucho tiempo que no probaba algo igual. La suprema de pollo y las alitas ( se tardan 20 minutos para salir algo que te informan al pedirlo) pero vale la pena el tiempo de espera. Me encantó! Mi marido y yo decidimos probar mucho platos vaniamos con hambre!!! probamos las alas de pollo, mejillones, suprema de pollo, Calamares y ensalada de queso.... TODO SUPER RECOMENDADO. Disappointing given the good reviews. A decent place to stop for a drink I’m sure, but the food really isn’t great. Incredibly salty veggies, chicken was fine if a bit mushy but the curry was pretty poor (tasted like packaged powder). Could do worse, but definitely could do better

We ate here at 7pm on Sunday but were seated outside immediately without waiting. Two amazing staff members served us amazing food with warmth and kindness. Couldn’t get better service. Mussels, fish and fries were all 10/10. The best food we’ve eaten on our trip. Would come again.

We had a great meal at Synge! My steak was cooked perfectly, the sauce served with it was fantastic, wings were great, and the fries were just right. Our beers went with our meal well too. Perhaps the best part of the evening was the staff. They were attentive, fun, and personable. We would go back in a split second!

We thought we would try this restaurant after looking at the reviews. I have to say we were not disappointed! My wife and I had the calamari as a main course along with chips it was very filling and delicious. The place is super friendly with great service.

Great cordial service, excellent food especially considering the honest prices, top notch décor and ambience. Extra points for having us in quite late at night when most other patrons were heading out and serving us a full delicious dinner.

One of the best meals we had in Chamonix! The food was amazing and the vibe inside was super cool—cozy but modern. We ordered the prawns (an absolute must), the pan-seared seabass (crispy skin, tender and moist fish—perfect for a seafood lover like me), and the ribeye steak (great portion and super satisfying). The mashed potatoes and prawns were absolute perfection. You can tell everything is high quality and made with care. We tried a bunch of places during our trip, and this one really stood out. Definitely a must-try spot if you’re in Chamonix—something for everyone on the menu!

Had our manditory end of ski (and snowboarding) holiday steak here. 10/10, highly reccomend. One of the best steaks ive had! Service was super friendly and attentive. Chicken wings to start were really tasty and good portion. Prices are exceptionally reasonable, escpecially for the food quality. We had a late sitting (9pm) but didnt make a difference. Definately eat here :)

Hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown. Great vibe, excellent service, amazing food with English (correction : Irish 🤦) pub classics cooked to perfection. I got the curry, but my partner got the meat pie which was by far the best dish at the table (highly recommended).

Having tried various restaurants and cocktail bars in our time in France, traveling from numerous regions during our trip, this meal was by far the best we had. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing our experience was here. The house sauce on the burgers was delicious, the watermelon feta salad was a welcome added freshness, and the moules frites were the best I’ve ever had. I have traveled from coast to coast in France having tried moules frites in every city I travel to, and I have never had any as remarkable as the ones at Synge and Co. We even had to go back on our last day before heading to our next city! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel so at home from the moment we entered the restaurant. If you’re looking for a meal that might ruin every other meal you have ever had, make sure you visit Synge and Co. it was truly one for the books and it will be a stap

We spent 2 days in Chamonix and came back to Synge twice. The food is bomb, reasonably priced and the staff could not be more friendly. Located in a square off the main restaurant drag, this place is a gem. The mussels were by far my favorite I've had anywhere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid, delicious meal in Chamonix.

You are made to feel very welcome the moment you arrive. The menu is limited, but what they offer is delicious and generous helpings. We had their burger and the roast butternut squash and sweet potato curry. Delicious. Thank you! We'll be back!

Had an amazing dinner at this place! Super welcoming, great vibes, and most importantly, really well executed food! A little off the main tourist area, but the location makes it feel more intimate than its competitors on the main drag. Chamonix locals are so lucky to have this as their neighborhood spot!

Fantastic food, service and drinks. We shared the mussels, sea bass, curry with prawns, and goat cheese salad and every dish was delicious - the favourite was the sea bass.

Visited for a quick drink while we were waiting for our coach and the guy who served us was super kind and bubbly. Got two pints and enjoyed the outdoor seating for an hour or so. First and only full pint we got served on holiday! 😂. Apparently they have a great menu as well. Kind to tourists They serve Asahi which is a big plus!

We had the pleasure of dining here on our first night in Chamonix last week, and it was a memorable experience. The appetizers were a hit, and our main courses, including a delicious burger with crisp fries, and the delicious white fish, were equally impressive. The vibe of the restaurant is laid-back yet trendy, making it a perfect spot to unwind. We enjoyed sitting outside until 11 PM, soaking in the ambiance. Synge & Co truly knows how to create a welcoming environment with delicious offering.

Every time I've eaten here the food has been excellent. Very high quality food and filling. The service is always prompt and with a smile. Highly recommended

Lovely bar vibe but with high restaurant quality food, ambiance is brilliant with a great playlist! Really friendly staff, I had sea bass which was cooked to perfection. Wonderful burgers and great choices on the menu. If you are looking for relaxed dining and high quality food come here!! 😁

Hidden behind a beer-patio lies this place, with fantastic service and the best moules frites I have ever been served. Highly recommend giving Synge a try. I will for sure return the next time I visit Chamonix!!

Came for dinner on our last night in Chamonix. It was fabulous. The service was great and every dish we ordered was wonderful. I highly recommend getting a meal here.

The kitchen is AMAZING. We tried a few different starters - all great quality and quantity! Then we tried their fish and chips, mule frites, steak and sea bass. The place is both for dinner and drinks. The wine and espresso martinis are great too

Flott sted litt unna maset i hovedgaten. Maten og servicen var veldig bra. Vi kom litt sent på kvelden men ingen problem å få bord. Rolig fin atmosfære

En veldig kul restaurant som ligger litt unna sentrum. Servicen var helt topp og maten var nydelig! Vi likte spesielt godt forretten vi spiste, som var Buffalo Chicken Wings og Asian Chicken Lettuce Cups.

Great little restaurant in Chamonix. We took a group of 12 along for dinner and they handled it very well. Food was great with a good variety to choose. English speaking staff had great personalities!

A cozy and friendly Irish pub hidden from Main Street that has a lively interior and good selection of Irish classics. My monkfish scampi was tender and paired well with the provided sauce. The charred lime was a nice touch. Tasty and hearty for the first night in chamonix.

This place is next to the air bnb I was staying at and I’m glad I went to go grab food and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and has a feel good vibe to it. I had the roasted chicken which tasted fantastic. The whiskey sours were delicious too!

We visited twice while staying in Chamonix for 4 nights. Staff are immediately friendly and welcoming. The food is beautiful, in particular the steak - the best meal we have ever had. This place has an amazing vibe, friendly, happy people. The location is also amazing - stunning views. Will definitely return on our next trip!

Best new bar restaurant in Chamonix. Delicious food and atmosphere. Such nice staff! Interesting menu with something for everyone, good cocktail selection and decent portion sizes. Great value for a nice cosy meal out.

Lovely cosy venue, excellent service and awesome food. Chicken wings were perfect and huge bowl of muscles were delicious. Aperol Spritz made very well too. Really well priced too. Such a great find in a ski resort.

Steak was really, really chewy... Fries dry. Not bad selection of beers. Service pretty good and english speaking. But this freaking stake... Really bad.

This place is an absolute gem. Amazing food and reasonable wine, off the beaten track. We had a mix of all the starters and mains and it was our best meal in Chamonix without a doubt. The staff are also lovely, attentive and not a stuffy personality in sight. J'adore.
