If we could leave a 10* review we would. We have recently returned from our stunning winter wedding weekend at Hotel Coutettaz. From start to finish James and the team made the experience a total joy. Nothing was too difficult and any wedding stresses we had were quickly dispelled by the seamless professionalism, hospitality and friendliness of the Coutettaz staff. We had 80 of our closest friends and family join us on our wedding day with our family staying in the 11 stunning bedrooms for 3 nights over the weekend. The food, both on the wedding day and on the other nights was worthy of Michelin stars, breakfast was an amazing mix of continental and cooked that constantly garnered praise from all the guests. From the moment you arrive at the Hotel you are treated like royalty. James, Dorian and the whole team amazingly make you feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble. |The Hotel had a friendly family feeling for the duration of my stay. My room was very comfortable, clean and cosy. The breakfast and especially dinner time was 1st class with excellent food/drink with top service. It was my 1st time in Morzine and will definitely be returning next year staying at Hotel Coutettaz!!

It's hard to describe how wonderful this place is. Unmatched for friendly helpfulness with a genuine mission to please. All done with good humour and without seeming to try hard at all. Our first visit lasted a week and we booked a longer stay next year before the week was done.

We go every year, and every year we have a fantastic time. The accommodation and venue is so convenient, the service is always fantastic and the food delicious. Dorian and James and their team provide a great experience!

This was our 3rd visit and it was as gorgeous and indulgent as ever. It’s such a lovely atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble and the team are all brilliant - excellent food, lifts to/from the pistes, etc. It feels much more like a house party with friends old and new than a conventional hotel stay. Excellent welcome from the whole team who couldn’t do enough to make the stay as memorable as it was - the atmosphere created by Dorrien and James is something really special.

As always, it feels almost like coming home.. The entire staff is beyond superb, the 'welcome back' is genuine and warm, the rooms are all fantastic, the beds are super comfortable and we love coming back here. The chef is exemplary and the food we enjoyed could so easily have been served in a Michelin starred restaurant. Pre-dinner canapes in the bar was a lovely touch, and during dinner we loved the announcement of what each course would be. Top marks to Hotel Couttetaz who has found the winning formula and keeps delivering year in, year out.

Hotel Coutettaz or' the farmhouse' is a stunning place to stay. The warmth of the building is matched by the warmth of the team, led by Dorrien and James. Wow, where do I begin? I mean this is the best experience I have ever had. It was my first time in the alps, my best friends 30th birthday and staying in the Farmhouse made it absolutely one of my favorite memory of all time. The staff were so nice, attentive and always ready to help or even have a nice chat. The interior was crazy cool, vintage and with an amazing fireplace by the bar. They also sorted everything out with the ski rental and passes which was just great. Special thanks to all of you guys, you rock. Dorrien, it was amazing to ski with you, a natural guide and impeccable skier; you made the skiing experience unbelievable. L'endroit est magnifique, et il faut souligner la qualité du service (repas délicieux, personnel attentionné qui vous demande toujours si tout va bien, possibilité d'aller en navette au télécabine, etc.). Stayed at The Farmhouse- what a wonderful location, incredible period building and hospitable hosting. The accommodation is brimming with period charm and the food is Rosette standard with wonderful team and a bar with roaring fire. We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Farmhouse! Travelling all the way from Australia, we were warmly welcomed by Dorian, James and the team, who were incredible from the very first email. I recently stayed at The Farmhouse for a very full weekend of well-executed, beautiful, and charming wedding activities. My first impression was of a warm, helpful, and all-encompassing welcome from both the staff and the building and grounds. The congeniality of the staff never wavered from that initial meeting on Thursday until the end of the stay on Monday. The helpfulness of the staff cannot be overstated - if I could rate higher than 5 stars for service I would. The warmest of welcomes from James and his team; exceptional personal service, outstanding food and supremely comfortable rooms. Probably the best shower I have had anywhere! This is a tiny "boutique" hotel, as different from the tourist chains as one can imagine. We can't recommend The Farmhouse too highly if you are looking for an exceptional place to stay in Morzine.

My third stay, but the first for seven long years. Has anything changed? No, thank heavens. It's as blissful as ever, with the old team and the new caring for their guests with absolute perfection. I've tried, but cannot think of a single criticism. Well, I suppose my shower in lovely Mazot was a bit dark. Did I care? Of course not.

Stayed for my friends wedding and also some mountain biking in the local area. Absolutely amazing venue and the staff are truly second to none. I've been made to feel special on every visit. I arrived in the early hours of the morning (2:30 am), yet I was greeted and checked in despite this. I honestly can't say enough how great the staff are. They made my stay and more importantly my friends wedding a magical time.

This has to be one of the best location and service accommodation in Morzine. The owners/staff are super attentive and helpful👍if I didn’t have my own accommodation this is where I would be staying on my vacation. Fantastic Wedding venue and incredible views of the surrounding mountains 👍

I stayed at The Farmhouse for a few nights over Christmas and the first thing I thought when I walked in the door was "I wonder if I can add a few nights to my booking?" The only downside to staying at The Farmhouse is that you may have to force yourself to venture outside, so that you can discover the fantastic landscape in which it is set. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff will anticipate your every need, the meals are first class (I'm vegetarian and the Christmas dinner was the best I've ever had), and the afternoon tea/pre- and post-dinner drinks around the fireplace quickly became addictive. This is a luxurious treat that you won't regret.

Dorrien & James with their team at The Farmhouse consistently deliver a five star service in the most amazing building in Morzinne. I've been a dozen times and they never fail to impress. If you can get in, book it ...... you'll love it !

I just visited for 10 mins but this is a lovely cosy place with a friendly, helpful owner. There seemed to be a really companionable feeling between the guests too. My impression is that I'd love to stay here next time in Morzine.

Four of us spent Christmas at the Farmhouse with our two Norfolk Terriers and one Spaniel. I have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world but our stay here was the best I have ever stayed at. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, our rooms were beautiful, clean and very comfortable with lovely touches. Food was delicious, what ever you could want for breakfast , welcoming tea time goodies, tasty canapés before dinner in the sitting room with a gorgeous fire and dinner was a surprise every evening with a fabulous Christmas 8 courses. There were satsumas and chocolates everywhere for you to help yourself, it was like staying with family or friends but more relaxed. I simply couldn't recommend more highly and only hope to return annually.

Unique place. I am a traveler, that has been in many luxury hotels and chambres d'hôtes. I took some time to realize this place is both at the same time. Worth the trip, a 250 years old mountain cottage with an exquisite British taste.

Unbelievably nice restaurant. You eat on a banquet table with candle arbours and an immaculately laid table. Sometimes you eat with the owner and all the other guests. Food is brilliant and the atmosphere is lovely. Seats around 20 persons.

Amazing place - you 'll love it !

Had such a fantastic stay at The Farmhouse, they could not have been more hospitable. We took our 8-week daughter and they were so accommodating! The breakfast was excellent and they make a large variety of cooked options to order. In the afternoon there are cakes, teas and coffees awaiting your return from the slopes. Now, where to start with dinner! The food is excellently cooked and the room is so rustic and candlelit. The 4-course menu each night was delicious. Dinner is a social affair, everyone dines around a large table at the same time! The owners and staff are super friendly. It's the little things that are great 1/ the cup of tea or coffee brought to your room as a wake-up call at a time of your choosing and 2/ the drop-offs and pickups to the slopes could not have been easier. We will definitely be staying again.

We had a birthday party for 20 people and it was fabulous. Great food, attentive staff and very atmospheric.

The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly and fun. The back-drop to this splendid spot is the French Alps. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. You'll not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful warm welcome to the farmhouse, the staff were fantastic and our room was extremely comfortable. The food was excellent every evening and the Savoyard banquet on Wednesday was great fun. We will definitely be returning to this little gem in the French Alps.

Had the best 5 days in Morzine staying at The Farmhouse for a wedding. The Farmhouse Team were absolutely fantastic and everything went perfectly for the happy couple, family and friends. A really lovely place to stay, highly recommended.

This place is beautiful. It's well located, in a quiet place, but close to the center. The rooms are really beautiful.

Unbelievably delicious 'banquet'! Hot stone & raclette... what more could you want. Charming staff and such a cosy place - with fire places and comfy sofas galore. At least one evening there whenever we go to Morzine.

Outstanding stay in Winter 2015. Fabulous food, friendly staff and a lovely room made our stay perfect! The staff really can't do enough for your and the atmosphere in the evenings at dinner is unforgettable - as was the delicious food. We have already booked for 2016 and can't wait to return. Le cadre est très cosy, l'endroit est très calme et l'accueil est très chaleureux. Toutefois, il est conseillé de parler anglais car les propriétaires ne parlent qu'un tout petit peu de français. Le petit-déjeuner est très bien servi.

Restauration de qualité...un petit bijou||Petit dejeuner frais et copieux......jardin magnifique .....à recommander en amoureux ou pour un séjour quiet.....tenus par des anglais charmants
